Carnival Panama Canal & Central America Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival has really gone down hill

We chose this cruise nearly 2 1/2 years in advance because of it's unique itinerary which included the Panama Canal. It was to be our dream cruise. Turned out to be the cruise from hell. The day before sailing, they cancelled the cruise we booked and replaced it with a shorter cruise that included none of the ports that were on the cruise we booked. They claimed an abundance of caution because ...

WORST CRUISE EVER COMPLETE WASTE TIME AND MONEY!

By FAR the worst we've been on Guest services are unbelievably rude, and have nasty attitudes. The food was TERRIBLE (I even found a tree LEAF in the gravy and the chef shrugged it off and continued to serve it!) The whole cruise was EXTREMELY boring, no poolside games and contests everyday or any kind of fun games and activities around and inside the ship other than some TERRIBLE trivia. The ...

We went on this Cruise because it was the itinerary we wanted for the Panama canal but we will never go on carnival again! We will be sticking to Royal Caribbean. The shore excursions were great but pretty much anything having to do with onboard sucked! The shows were so loud I couldn't stay for any of them, the food was not good, I ordered breakfast to my room every morning with extra cereal ...

What were they thinking?

In the past, two of my favorite things about Carnival cruises were the Deli, where I looked forward to having a great pastrami sandwich every day for lunch, and the adult entertainment, which always made us laugh out loud. On Carnival Sunrise, the deli was average at best - went there on the first day for my pastrami sandwich but never went back. The sandwich was dry, the bread was dry, the ...

The only the enjoyable thing on this cruise were the fellow passengers. Staff: Unless they were working for extra tips at the bar or trying to sell you something, they looked and acted miserable. Some practically falling over tired. Food: Im used to military gally food, and thats what they served. And it was the same food served in all four restraunts with only the $40 steakhouse having ...

Don't book on Carnival ship Valor

Taking a cruise to the Panama Canal was on our bucket list however this ship is a rust bucket that has not been updated since it's inaugural voyage and it shows ! The entertainment is done by the same six people for every night, and is horrible. Every show ended with fewer show goers than it started with. Since Carnival has added the "tips" to your bill -- the service has significantly ...

Very Tired Ship

Chose this cruise for the itinerary only. Ship was only superficially clean, poor maintenance overall. We had a balcony cabin and could see rust on the davit that held an emergency boat , worried that it would not hold weight of passengers if an emergency. 1 woman collapsed during safety drill, crew stood frozen and were unsure what to do- passengers assisted her, took approx. 15 minutes for ...

Children on the Dance Floor - Dangerous - Safety Issue

The low rating is entirely due to the issue described. Except for the issue described below the cruise would have been fantastic from the service to the food to the excursions. As a ballroom dancer we found the music for dancing was great from Waltz to East Coast Swing. There was a two piece violinists who played music from Mission Impossible - Tango to Michael Jacksons Billy Jean - Hustle to ...

Carnival Legend - Central America/Panama Canal

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Legend

I have put off writing this review because I get upset just thinking about the cruise. I went with my fiance, and my future brother and sister in law. We booked the cruise because we were told Carnival was for a younger crowd. Let me begin with the other people on board. I would say 90% of them were over the age of 80. Apparently there was a senior citizen village onboard that no one told us ...
