Carnival New York (Manhattan) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Took us by surprise --- on the good side

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Glory

This is actually a very positive review, read on. We sailed with CC a few years ago and that left a very bad taste in our mouths, literally. Food was horrible, the staff was just average and we would have never travel with CC ever again. The recent incidents of the cruise being stranded added to the horror show. We booked the trip with Carnival Glory since the price is right for a family of 4. ...

Carnival Glory 5 night Canada Cruise

After a really AMAZING 8 night cruise in May on the Carnival Splendor, my boyfriend and I decided we HAD to go on another Carnival cruise before the summer was over. With my tight schedule, we could only fit in a shorter cruise, and the Carnival Glory 5 night to Canada fit the bill. Neither of us really cared about seeing Canada, and we took this cruise in hopes of meeting new people and having a ...

Carnival exceeds expectations!

When my wife and I booked this cruise we didn't expect much. We had heard recent grumblings about how the service and quality on Carnival has hit bottom. We booked this cruise only for the itinerary (we have always wanted to visit Halifax) and thought our 2 children (7 and 11 years old) would enjoy the laid back Carnival experience and most of all the price was right. We boarded the ship with a ...

My husband and I were a bit hesitant to book this cruise, but it was such a deal that we took a chance...sure glad we did! When we decided to book this cruise, there was a lot of uncertainty and a little apprehension. We finally just decided to go for it, and we're glad we made that decision. Not only was it a great deal, we were really impressed by what Carnival had to offer! Both my husband and ...

First Cruise - Carnival lessons learned

This cruise to Canada was "adequate". Pros: stateroom with oceanview balcony with one very comfortable king bed. 6th floor near front very quiet. Room service punctual, friendly. On the whole, maid service also very good -- although two calls had to be made on one occasion to get attention to our cabin. Pools: lots of pools and whirlpools to choose from with or without children. Wine prices per ...

After reading about the physician who had the worst cruise ever (one of the reasons was they called him by his first name after he registered with Carnival as a doctor!!! OMG how terrible they did not recognize G-D was on their ship), I thought I would add my own opinion. This was our fifth Carnival cruise and around 15 in total. After our 2011 Carnival cruise which was a nightmare we decided to ...

Hi everyone! I have never used cruise critic, but my parents and husband frequent the site. This is my 4th cruise, third with Carnival, and I thought it was a good time to share my thoughts and get more involved. My husband and I are from Massachusetts. We took a bus from Boston with 7 other friends. I've never been to New York, so this was a chance for me to see the city. Bus dropped us off at ...

This was my 8th Carnival Cruise and it was overall, great! The embarkation proccess was a bit delayed but once on the ship, we were up on the lido deck by 11:30 eating. The burgers were excellent and the Tandori was the best. The pizza is now thin crusted and was not good. They had one guy serving and he was very slow. The Dining room food was probably the best we had. The prime rib (served twice) ...

My first cruise was on Norwegian Sky, so unfortunately the bar was set pretty high. My second cruise was on Carnival Paradise, and I wish I avoided all the shows on that one, as it wasted precious time. This review is about my third cruise on CARNIVAL GLORY, 4 days from NYC to Saint John Canada... My review is a mixed bag, but surprisingly it is positive! My group had a total of 13 people: my ...

Glory was a fun time...but...

Embarking on the Carnival Glory for a 5 nite cruise from Manhattan to Canada we were first time Carnival cruisers, with 4 other cruises under our belts. There is definitely a difference. Can't knock vacations, but Glory seemed to be densely packed. Yes, a cruise ship fills up with 3000 people and 1000 crew, but everywhere you turned you were cheek to cheek with people. The only place there was a ...
