This ship is quite different from other Ships. We loved the Italian theme. The Marco Polo dining room felt very intimate. Staff was great. The cruise director Joey was fantastic. Took cruise out of New York to Canada New England on the ship Venezia Carnival cut back on food items on the buffet & in the dining room. (Bacon every other day--pan cakes every other day-French toast every other day etc.) Poor selection in the dining room as well, they scaled way back on menu options. Selected this cruise for the itinerary - ended up on the Venezia due to a ship swap. Beginning was very rough - cabin assignment on swap did not align with what we'd paid for and hours on the phone did not resolve the issues.
