I have traveled Carnival before but this cruise had a few disappintments. The spa ia located beneath a childrens play area which is definatley not relaxing. All through my massage, there was thumping and crazhing that was loud enough to rattle and shake the ceiling and walls. The spa area or the play area need to be relocated. Also the violen music, although relaxing at times, was played at all ...

Passengers Were Treated Like Cattle

My husband and I sailed from New Orleans to Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel for 7 days from 7/30-8/06. From the time we went through customs to board the ship until the time we exited through customs off the ship, the passengers were treated like nothing more than cattle moving through stockyards. VERY FEW experiences on the ship were personalized and the staff acted MISERABLE the whole time!! ...

Disappointed

We chose this cruise because we were invited by friends and we have cruised on other Carnival cruises before with great experiences. We were disappointed to see the rough shape of the ship. The carpet is very worn and dingy. The windows were cloudy and hard to see out of, the decore is very out of date and reminded us of Disneyland's "It's a small world" ride. The main dining menu had very little ...

My wife picked this cruise and we did it in the passed and in 2016 we was on the same ship out of Miami when l loss my daughter. But about this current cruise 7/23 there was nothing for the adults to do. Everything revolved around trivia. for a whole week we had the same food Morning noon and night. This was the first time l enjoyed the cruise director Johnny. He was amazing and interacted with ...

Having been on Carnival Cruises before several times, I knew what to expect and had tempered expectations as this is not my favorite cruise line. We had to choose a last minute vacation that we could drive to and not need a passport. I was pleasantly surprised by a few things and we really enjoyed our family time but we will not be returning.... Embarkation - Departing from New Orleans ...

Very Disappointed After 8 Carnival Cruises

My wife and I were dumbfounded while on our cruise to the Bahamas. Let me get the excursions out of the way. Freeport (otherwise known as the “Gas Station”), was disappointing. View from the ship once docked has a lot to be desired. The beach excursion was good. As others have posted, it is crowded but that didn’t bother us. Nassau was awesome! We took the Blue Lagoon excursion. You will ...

Family Fun Time on a Fun Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We selected a Carnival Valor cruise, because the New Orleans port was easy for all of us to get to and a five-night cruise seemed to be the right length for both the first-time cruisers and the "gold status" cruisers. The ship was packed, and you could really notice that on embarkation day and in between the end of early dinner and the beginning of late dinner, as well as at some of the bars in ...

Love this ship. We had a few different people that works on it make it so great. One of them that was AMAZING is Putu in the Casino he's a bartender. He is such a great man. And a very hard worker. He did am excellent job. And I'm sure hoping he will be there when I go back in Sept-Oct. He made our Cruise the best. Thank you carnival and thank you Putu. Also the cruise director was so fun! Great First Time Cruise for 8 Year Old

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

I chose this cruise because it departed from New Orleans, home of my daughter and grand daughter, an 8 year old. I wanted her to have a fun time exploring the ship and enjoying the daily activities of cruising, so I wasn't concerned that it was full of children's activities and toys or the fanciest ship with best food. The trip began with ease as we checked in at our scheduled time without ...

Lousy cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

This is the sixth cruise we have taken with Carnival. This was BY FAR the worst cruise we have ever taken. * The Valor appeared to be a run-down, aging ship. Stats show it to be 19 years old but appeared much older. * We voiced our dissatisfaction to Guest Services mid-cruise but never received any follow up to our concerns. * Our last cruise was aboard the Mardi Gras and it was great. ...
