Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Really a nice ship. Staff was excellent: room steward Josephine, wait staff Sunny, Ikatuk & Kadek In Crimson, bartenders Airine (sp? pronounced Irene) and Dwi at Ocean Plaza Bar (next to Alchemy), Tomislav and Harta at the casino, Nana at the Lobby Bar and Dipak at level 10 aft bar. All were EXCELLENT and recognized me by name after first day. Rock band was Excellent, brass jazz/soul band was ...

I travel with a group every January and our coordinator chose this cruise. We traveled to New Orleans a few days early to enjoy the city. Parking is so expensive we flew this time. That was a great decision. New Orleans is a very walkable city and their trolley system is very easy and inexpensive. It's also thick with Uber drivers. We stayed at the Best Western on Rampart. Fine hotel with the ...

Our last cruise was back in 2012; a lot of Carnival procedures and policies have changed since then (FTTF, Sail & Sign Cards at room, Sea Day Brunch), so we weren't really sure what to expect this cruise. We chose this particular cruise because we were able to celebrate Christmas at home with the family, but allowed us to do a cruise while the kids were still out on break. This cruise, I was ...

Let me say this by only use your debit or credit card to BOOK THE CRUISE. For everything else please use cash. Bring LOTS of CASH! Again CASH ONLY. Luggage - be ready to tip those that get your luggage to the ship. keep at least a carry on with the items you'll need (meds, toiletries, etc) Embarkation - quick, smooth. have your passport or birth certificate(with photo ID) and your boarding ...

The cruise was great. Service was great. I did not enjoy all the kids on board. The kids ran wild on the ship and there were complaints all week. I will not cruise again on a holiday week... too many kids... Just a personal preference. The food was pretty good. Although I wish the buffets and burger places were open more in the in between times of breakfast lunch and dinner. The ...

We are pretty laid back cruisers. We are usually down for whatever, and rarely complain or make a big deal of out of things. Our first time out of NO and getting on the ship was probably the quickest and most smoothest experience we have had with carnival. Parking was expensive at port. Overall ship was clean, however room was a B on clean. It wasn’t bad enough to complain but got the ...

This cruise left from New Orleans. It was an 8 day round trip. Our stops were Costa Maya, Belize, Roatan, Cozumel. There was 10 adults total in our group. We stayed in an inside cabin on deck 1. The cabin was quiet and hardly any ship movement. Easy access to the ironing room, aft dining room and exiting the ship each day. The food was delicious in the main dining room, pizza, burgers, cantina and ...

Had a good time on Carnival Dream out of New Orleans. Spent weekend in New Orleans and had a blast. Ocean view cabin. Saw 4 comedians and all great. Did steakhouse and fair. Did Chacchoben with Native Choice and highly recommend. Did Roatan Ocen Adventures snorkle hop and was fantastic. Much better than West Bay West End beach snorkle. Did cave-tubing.com butts up cave tube and zip. ...

This cruise was a repeat itinerary from 2013, but on a much larger ship. The Dream had 4K+ passengers, but still seemed uncrowded. Food quality in the main dining room seems to be declining along with service. Portions seemed smaller, particularly with beef items. Servers sometimes brought food to wrong person. Bread options were sometimes offered to each person and other times it was in ...
