Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First time cruise - loved it!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

My friend booked this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was fantastic! The ship was nice, our interior rooms larger than expected and very clean and comfortable. The food from the buffet was only so-so but very good in the sit down restaurants. I loved the variety offered by the ever changing menus, and tried many new things. We came to like one service team in particular, and requested ...

Good cruise, some things with Princess were better though

This was our 2nd cruise. Our kids are all grown now, so my wife and I have started to plan 1 cruise per year as our vacation. Last year (Nov 2015) we took a Princess cruise to the Caribbean and were very impressed. Some comparisons with this Carnival ship were: 1. Balcony access was better on Princess with a sliding door that could be slightly open at night for the ocean sounds. On the Carnival ...

I am not sure why people criticise this cruise ship, we have been on Disney, Royal Carribean, Princess, Costa, MSC, NCL and Holland America and the ship compares favourably against all of these with the exception of Holland America which was our favourite. It is clean, well maintained, the crew are excellent, the entertainment was good, the food is pretty average but not imaginative. It styles ...

1/8/2017 Dream Sailing from New Orleans

Overall it was a great cruise, we had a great waiter Gusti in the Scarlet Lower Dining room table 525. The Maitra D was very nice also. Food was good. I miss the table clothes on casual nights, the water glasses sweat and drip all over your clothes. The staff was also very nice and tried to make everything go smoothly. The cabin was clean and the steward did a great job. Ship was clean and ...

We booked this cruise as the most affordable option over the Holidays. Having sailed Disney and RC previously, was not sure what to expect with Carnival. We ended up having a fantastic time and will definitely sail Carnival again. Ship and Cabin were both great. Our room steward kept our room clean and was very friendly, knew us all by name. We ate lunch in the buffet and main dining room, food ...

New Year's Cruise on the Dream

This was my 10th cruise, and my first going solo. I chose this port and date as it coincided with my office closing for the holidays. I have cruised on Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Carnival, and have had a great time on them all. My previous cruises were out of either Miami, Puerto Rico or Galveston. Embarking from New Orleans made for quite a difference in the type of passengers ...

We had an offer letter for a bargain and this was one of the cruises available. We thought it would be fun to sail over New Years. It was fun! The New year celebration was done up very well and will be remembered for many years. Aside from that the cruise itself was slightly above average. We booked Beach breaks through Island Marketing at every port and just got into the relaxation mode. Because ...

Our party of five, ranging in age from 10 to 72, had a wonderful Christmas Cruise on the Carnival Dream. From the time we pulled into the parking garage at the NOLA port until we boarded was under an hour and we felt it was well organized. We choose Balcony cabins forward on deck 7 because we like a quiet location. It was perfect and the rooms were ready at 1:30. Our luggage was delivered ...

We had a great time on our family of 6, 3 cabin Christmas Cruise to the Western Caribbean out of New Orleans. This was a great cruise, close to home and very affordable. The pools were quite crowded most of the time thus they weren't inviting to use. Our ages included 2 mid 20s, 1- 30s. 1 - 40s, 1-50s and 1 - 60s. Everyone was able to find plenty of entertainment to suit their tastes. We met ...

On 12/11/16 Sunday morning we boarded the Dream immediately,by being VIP'S we walked right in with no line to the captains lounge after our security check in. total time 10 minutes and were in the captains lounge having refreshments, we waited in the lounge for about 2 hrs before we were allowed to board the ship. The Dream is a huge ship; we first had booked a cove balcony and carnival ...
