So this was our first cruise the food was terrible. we an my wife had upset stomachs the whole time. The best thing in our opinion was the salad and we like eating over here. The first night on the boat they did not have the a/c on and we about sweat to death trying to sleep naked on top of the covers.
They tried to charge us an extra $160 for tips after we were tipping like $5 for 2 ...
A group I'm a member of booked this ship. Started out with bad experience as the help I signed up for to get a wheelchair bound family member on board did not come to help. Ordered trays of fruit, veggies to our room for my low blood sugar. After 2 days and lots of contacting staff members food never showed up I said just take it off my bill. There was not ONE accessible pool or hot tub so we ...
I chose this ship Carnival Valor because Carnival always has multiple things to do on its ship comedy show, trivia games , deal or no deal.
The carnival valor felt very warm overall in many areas throughout the ship, throughout the length of the trips making it very uncomfortable for guests.
My room itself was measuring at 80 degrees the first day we arrived. I had to request to be switch ...
My husband and I sailed from New Orleans to Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel for 7 days from 7/30-8/06. From the time we went through customs to board the ship until the time we exited through customs off the ship, the passengers were treated like nothing more than cattle moving through stockyards. VERY FEW experiences on the ship were personalized and the staff acted MISERABLE the whole time!! ...
My wife picked this cruise and we did it in the passed and in 2016 we was on the same ship out of Miami when l loss my daughter. But about this current cruise 7/23 there was nothing for the adults to do. Everything revolved around trivia. for a whole week we had the same food Morning noon and night. This was the first time l enjoyed the cruise director Johnny. He was amazing and interacted with ...
I chose this cruise based on my previous experience with Carnival and the destination. We got on board to back to back disappointments while trying to stay positive. I would say first, the FEW out of control guest who seem to want to make other guest their entertainment are the primary reason we will never take another Carnival cruise. These groups are typically those individuals who laugh and ...
I chose this cruise because I was off for Spring Break and needed a refresh. I have been on other Carnival cruises so this wasn't a first time cruise. First off, there were no welcoming vibes at all on the ship. Some staff were friendly but most weren't. The highlights were the port day excursions. The down side was too many kids running in hallways and making lots of noise. This is pure misery ...
I will not do Carnival Valor again. When we first got on , I wiped down the table and desk and the towel was black. There were stains on the wall. Mona at the Blue Iquana was rude! Never went back there for a drink. Lovell was awesome at the Frog Bar but the other crew skipped right over you. Maybe you should find better bar staff. The food wasn’t that great and the ship is very overcrowded. The ...
We give this 2 stars an here why
1. The food was disgusting You had to wait in line for almost an hour to get your food .
2. The entertainment was very poor They had very few activities.
3. The drinks for water down and the can drinks for a flat! The alcohol was fantastic
4. Carnival valor we overcrowded they started to run out of food three days in to our cruise
5. There was no ...
We chose this cruise because of the ports as well as the embarkation port. The ports of call were fun, the tour with Jerry into Merida was so informative and had delicious food! Unfortunately besides Scarlett’s steakhouse on the ship that was the only food with any taste we had. Our cabin steward Ani was great but the dinner service was terrible. The whole boat needs a deep clean and the windows ...
