Our family traveled to New Orleans for a cruise on the Carnival Dream from Dec 26-Jan 3, 2017. It was AMAZING. I had read so many reviews leading up to the cruise that I was a nervous wreck. Embarkation. I was prepared for this to be hell. It was fast and easy. We arrived at the time we had chosen and we were on the boat with a drink in our hand within 45 minutes. Our cabin was ready at ...

Sunrises and Sunsets are the best thing since wedding cake! My hubby and I ordered breakfast daily to eat on the balcony. This was our 25 wedding anniversary present to ourselves! We had been planning it for several months and were so excited when December 11th arrived! We drove in to New Orleans and spent the night at the Hilton Garden Inn in the French Quarter. When it was time to embark ...

This is the 2nd time I have sailed the Dream. The Comedy clubs and shows are great on this ship, and Guy's Burger Joint is the best. Great modern ship with great food and relaxation! They have the Cove Balcony on this ship which puts you at water level with a very private balcony. The sun and rain do not find you on the balcony and it is very private with a great place to sit and relax and enjoy ...

Best cruise so far

I honestly don't understand all the negative reviews lately. This was by far my best cruise trip ever. All bar staff, sales staff, and dining staff were top notch. Jase was our cruise director and was very entertaining. Embarkation was very smooth and easy. I was on the ship by 11:30. Debarkation wasn't quite as smooth as embarkation, but I do not believe that is Carnivals fault because you have ...

We left from New Orleans, a short 2.5hr drive. Getting on and off was easy. We had inside cabins and they were roomy and nice. We cruised the western Caribbean. Stopping in Ocho Rios, visiting humming bird sanctuary. Got to feed them. Then ate at a jerk chick restaurant near airport. Stopped at Dewars and visited local grocery to stock up on coffee and beer. Next Grand Cayman easy cab ride ...

The Dream is a great ship compared to my last cruise on the Fasanation. The staff as always were fantastic. I'm amazed out how hard they work and they should be tipped well for all that they do each and everyday! No real complaints other than I wish Carnival was like Princss and offered surf and turf at dinner without the additional cost. I think we pay enough for the cruise to have steak and ...

Halloween on the Carnival Dream is always a great time. Scarlett Dining room crew were wonderful, food delicious, service great. Cruise director Jase also good. Interior room on lido was convenient and cool with great 1x day morning service-our choice. Room steward was awesome. Good entertainment, loved the spa & serenity area. We will be back next year! A Dream of a Cruise

This was our second cruise on the Dream. If you like big ships and lots of people then this is the ship for you. Can't imagine the size of the new Vista which is already out and the Horizon which will be out soon. I think I will concentrate on Carnival's smaller ships for future cruises. We were excited by the ports of call for this cruise; Cozemel, Belize, and Roartan. Visited these ports on ...
