I've cruise about 20 times and at least 4 on Carnival. This was by far the worst. The inside cabins are bigger than most with lots of storage space. The pizza, wraps and stir fry are wonderful. The food in the main diningroom was very good. This cruise was a drunken party cruise. The diningroom allowed flipflops, muscle shirts ,ripped jeans, baseball caps and bathing suit cover-ups at dinner. The worst ...

Not So Dreamy Dream Cruise

Let me begin by saying, my family LOVES cruising. My DH and I have taken over 20, and our kids - ages 21, 18 and 12, have taken 10-14 depending on their age (the youngest started at 6 months). We have also cruised with 5 different lines. I'm not stating this to brag; but rather, to say we know what to expect and what we like in a cruise line or more specifically, a ship. I try to do my ...

Carnival Dream - disappointment

The months of planning, organizing for a vacation of a lifetime went sour real quick. Embarkation and Debarkation was smoother than I thought it might be, and for that, I’m grateful. First and foremost, if you’re a smoker… you’re not welcome. It is so difficult to get to one of the “approved” smoking areas, and unless you are an Olympic stair-climber (because the elevators are packed with ...

Me and my went on this cruise for my 21s birthday. Embarkation was smooth and everyone is nice. But the service is screwy. It took us 2 hours to get food for dinner on the first night. I takes 10-40 mins to get desert. The food is ok, I was served uncooked chicken one night and had to sent it back. We didn't do any excursions in Belize and Cozumel. We did some in Roatan, I would give my excursion ...

Carnival Dream? More like Carnival Disaster

We chose this cruise because the port of embarkation and the ports we were SUPPOSED to go to. There was a tropical storm over the Bahamas and Florida. So, Carnival ended up changing the itinerary to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay. The ports were not as pretty as the Bahamas would have been so we were extremely disappoint and felt as if Carnival should have refunded some money(might I add, ...

Embarkation was a breeze. We had a cloud 9 Spa suite and so we were afforded priority boarding. We had immediate access to our room, 11205. Room: clean, quite. We could not enjoy the balcony because it was either flooded, daily. Or because slobs from above dropped trash on us. One day an apply core. Once half eaten pizza. Drink straws almost daily. I got tired of picking up ...

Well there is a reason Meds are prescribed and Jace the tour director needs to take as prescribed. Everything out of his mouth was at full speed Charlie Brown teacher talk. A little Ritalin would help the guests perhaps understand what we need to know. He held the mike too close and speed read the schedule numerous times throughout the day. Very unclear explanation of what to do. BINGO consists ...

Chose for convenience of all parties on the trip. Let me start off by admitting Carnival is not my favorite cruise line. I have had some lovely and some not-so-good experiences aboard Carnival ships. This cruise left much to be desired. First, Carnival has taken cost cutting to a new low. Sit-down dining in the Crimson restaurant was loud, made louder by the lack of tablecloths. We did not ...

We went on the cruise to try to get our love back but I ended up getting food poisioning from the blacken mahi mahi and was confined to my room until Tuesday I finally get a chance to go out with my wife and walk into the hall and smell the worst odor that I shouldn't have smelled. The room ac was never up to par especially after the heavy black smoke came from the smoke stack n the captain saying ...

I have sailed carnival in the past many times and always had a great time this trip was far from great, the second day at sea the captain was on the intercom every five to ten minutes saying there was smoke in the engine room but everything was ok after that much reassuring I felt I was being lied to. The air conditioning on first floor was out and the rooms were almost unbearable until the last ...
