Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was our first cruise ever and we chose a short cheap cruise to test the waters. As the time to sail approached I must say we were so excited it was like waiting for Christmas to arrive. We did all of our pre-cruise check in's read the Carnival website backwards and forwards and felt very prepared AND excited to try this out. When we arrived at the port we were checking in with our ...

Older Ship - Still Fun

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Elation

The Elation is an older ship with some design quirks, but still a great cruise. First the cons: -Strange design with the inability to travel from one side of the ship to the other without going up or down a floor. -Small stores with limited variety of merchandise. This was my first cruise ever in which I bought nothing in the gift shops. -Older pools which were too small to really ...

A Ship Worth Cruising On

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Elation

Although the Elation is an older ship, one could not tell from the asthetics or decor on board. We booked this cruise through carnival on one of their 48hr flash sale emails for prior guest and we were not disappointed! As always we completed our online check in ahead of time as to avoid the lines at the port. We spent the night in New Orleans prior to cruise instead of driving in the day of ...

We are just back from our first cruise on the Carnival Dream. I have to say that overall we really enjoyed ourselves ( husband and 2 boys ages 12 & 14 ) and had a great time. I had no idea of what to expect so here are a few of my thoughts. I thought the Embarkation went very smooth and was very easy...of course when you arrive at the Port Of New Orleans..it looks like a madhouse however, it ...

My family just enjoyed our very first cruise a few weeks ago. We chose July because we were cruising with a large group of family and friends with children out of school for the summer. I might add our children were teenagers, not the little ones who can make a vacation turn into a nightmare. We loved the ship! Our cabins were great even though we didn't select them as we'd had no experience on a ...

July 19 Eastern Caribbean Cruise out of New Orleans

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

2nd cruise (1st was on Carnival Conquest out of New Orleans in 9/2013). Noticed the following on this cruise: 1) Liked Lanai deck going around the ship, but did not like that it obstructs balcony view of the water. 2) Did not like larger crowd. Issues with the behavior of some kids which left my 12 year old twin sons not feeling very comfortable with Circle C. 3) Saw two people ...

I am so excited about my adventure. It was more than I had hoped for. The food, entertainment and staff were excellent. The professionalism and courtesy of the entire staff was wonderful. I enjoyed this cruise so much until I have already planned my next one. Thank you Carnival Dream Team for your efforts and dedication to each passenger. The cabins were always maintained and cleaned twice ...

We drove down to New Orleans from Canada....it was a long drive but we stopped along the way a few times in Nashville, Memphis, and Talladega before arriving in New Orleans 3 days before the cruise. We stayed at the Super 8 in New Orleans. It fit our budget and it was a nice hotel. Not 5 star, but we didn't expect that. Just a nice place to sleep and enjoy the pool after a long day of sight ...

My 25th cruise, my 6th with Carnival. Did a 3 day pre-cruise in the Big Easy at the newer AC Marriot. Great location for the French Quarter, and virtually noise free, even though it is in close proximity to Bourbon Street. (walking distance). About 10 dollars, (with a tip), for a quick taxi ride to the Port of New Orleans. Embarkation was flawless and organized, as was everything on ...
