Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

the service was excellent. everyone was super helpful and everything was very organized. our cabin was spotless. the bed was very comfortable. embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. i thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and our excursions were fabulous. we did the dolphin encounter in cozumel and those ruins that start with dz in progreso. i have very pleasant memories from both. it was ...

Worst Carnival Cruise out of 7

Out of 12 cruises, this was our first time on the Elation and selecting an Ocean view stateroom instead of a balcony. We have been on several older Carnival ships (Fascination, Imagination and Sensation) that were in great shape. Our room was M138 and it was in terrible shape. The drawers would not slide out or would fall on the floor. The medicine cabinet would not close correctly and the ...

Many Changes on Carnival Dream

Many changes on the Carnival Dream since we cruised on it in 2015. Now you have to sign a form saying when you want your room cleaned, in the morning or in the evening. Apparently they don't do both times any longer. We have been on 6 Carnival cruises and we were really disappointed this time. The cruise we took in January 2015 was also on the Carnival Dream but with more amenities that seem ...

This was our 3rd carnival cruise. Although I consider the 1st 2 overall better experiences, the dream was still a lot of fun and would do it again in a heartbeat. As usual the food was great, the port experiences were great, the activities and staff were also mostly great. The cruise director Jase was definitely the best weve had. Only have a couple of gripes. The room steward was the worst ...

Was reading some other cruisers reviews about the food on the ship, They didnt like the buffet and dining room food. Well my experience was that we were served in the dining area by a staff that was second to none, and we were served Lobster, Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, NY Strip, All Types Seafood and Many more choices, Every sea day you can have a great brunch, and there is a buffet with ...

I have been on the Carnival Dream two times. My 3rd time will be December 2017 :) Obviously I enjoy it for me to keep going back. People complain about the food but I like. How many times do you get the chance to have 3 course meals for 7 straight days? Or unlimited pizza and ice cream at 11pm. We've pretty much did everything on the Ship so this 3rd time we will just relax a lot more and spend ...

Nice, Enjoyable Cruise

This was my family's third cruise on CCL. The first two were on the Conquest. I am not a very social person, so I was a little concerned about this ship holding 3600 passengers. I have read many people's reviews that claimed there was not enough room on this boat, etc... but I felt like there was plenty of space. Yes, there were times when it is crowded - but nothing more than I would expect on a ...

January Dream Cruise to Bahamas; a Tad Chilly!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Dream

We got an amazing players club deal out of New Orleans and took off on a 7 day cruise to Key West, Freeport and Nassau. The only real cons of the trip were OBC and the weather (Not a Carnival issue - it's a January issue!). Windy and cool on the ship meant little time for any quality sun bathing, but heck, a chilly day on a cruise if better than a good day at work. Best days for sunshine were ...

Elated on Elation!

After reading the reviews, I was really worried about this cruise...but we didn't have any problems at all - and had a wonderful time. I was traveling with my husband and our three children, 18, 16 and 10. The staggered check is new to New Orleans, and as long as you know when to come, it's not a problem. We had Faster to the Fun so we arrived at 10 or so. Because of staggered check in, ...

Carnival Elation.... Elated???

My wife an I departed the Port of New Orleans on January 23, 2016. We were traveling with three other couples. Upon arrival to the cruise terminal we were advised that they were instituting a "new" way of embarkation. As part of this new system our party stood out in the very cold weather awaiting our time to be called into the terminal. Once inside the terminal we were placed in a "Disney ...
