Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

We sailed on the Carnival Dream out of New Orleans on June 3, 2018. In our group of 10 were brand new travellers together with seasoned cruising veterans. Half of us had sailed on Carnival in the past. Food servers were slow, forgetful, and inattentive in the main dining room. We were never asked on a single occasion if we wanted something to drink besides water. Not even coffee with dessert. ...

This was my first, and maybe last, cruise. I don't feel there were enough activities on board so sometimes we wandered the ship aimlessly. The ship felt dated. It sill uses fluorescent bulbs when suitable LED replacements exist. They often disabled one or two elevators in the bank so it could get very slow as the remaining picked up the load. The shore excursions were pretty fun but it ...

I guess we should start from the begining. This was my step-son’s introduction to cruising. It was my 5th with Carnival and Maria’s 2nd. I have been on a total of 12 cruises now and do not consider myself a novice cruiser anymore. I have come to expect a certain level of service and competency while cruising and enjoy being pampered. This is why we primarily book suites although or last cruise ...

Unfortunately teenagers were running around at all hours, shouting and throwing things, and when we complained to guest services, as this was carrying on until 03;00hrs, we were informed, there was nothing that could be done. On the deck below us, there was an out door chess set, teenagers would congregate there, throwing the pieces around, shouting obscenities, I requested if the pieces could ...

Will Never Cruise During Spring Break

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

We had children with us ages 3,3,9,11,13,15. There were so many rude children on this cruise. Too much chair saving with no one using them for hours. I felt like service was awful compared to previous cruises. I will never cruise during spring break with Carnival again. Entertainment wasn't what we were used to. Paid for premium internet and it was a waste of money. Paid for the ...

Carnival's Standards have Slipped A Lot

We went on this cruise with 85 new and old friends. We first started cruising with this group in 1998. Since then the quality of the cruise has gone down a lot! The food and service used to be wonderful. The food on the Carnival Dream was awful. Poorly cooked, never hot and very repetitive. The quality was terrible. We had a balcony suite at the very back of the ship because we were told ...

We chose this cruise because I wanted to cruise Carnival, it was affordable and out of a port of choice. The Carnival Dream is nice enough, about average. Embarkation and debarkation were about average as well, though the porters and available assistance staff were lacking a bit. GREAT SERVICE-- ARTY was a server near the pool. He was one of the highlights of this cruise. Very accommodating ...

There were many reasons we were not happy with our cruise. The first one being when we were called off the ship for our luggage to be opened. My husband had a small kit of electrical tape, some sewing needles, a travel screwdriver, a crescent wrench and some other small items he ALWAYS carries with him. We had just come through the airport with these items. The lady that was with security ...

Daughter broke toe

My daughter broke her toe the first morning and no one informed us that if you were hurt in the first 48 they would fly you home and give you a 110% refund or we would have taken it. The meet and Mingle was great except it was so hard to fine the meeting room. I spent my time pushing my daughter in a wheel chair to eat to get something to drink and to smoke. Was miserable. Would not let us take ...

We wanted to cruise during Thanksgiving without flying, so we chose this one from NO since we could drive. We stayed at Hampton Inn-Metairie where we could leave our car for a week. Embarkation was a breeze at 11:30. Had lunch and drinks then on to room at 1 where we found our bags waiting for us. Debarkation was easy. We literally just walked off the ship at 8:15 and were back on the road ...
