Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Went on my 7th cruise with Carnival. Rooms had to be corrected, group of 6 with 3 cabins, when I moved everyone around to the correct cabins, they took 2 people off of my charge account, when I went down to correct, they acted as it I did something wrong until I showed them the paperwork that i had indeed set up the charge accounts correctly.3 of the 6 of us are gold members and we received ...

Very disappointed in this cruise. Food was average at best. Breakfast was good, lunch was tolerable, and dinner, average at best. Entertainment was scarce. The entertainment they did have when they did have any was good. There was very little musical entertainment on the ship. The shows were okay, but not very conducive to those who got put into late dining. The mirror on the back of our door ...

Beautiful ship; two lacking employees

First off, the carnival dream is a beautiful ship! I had recently cruised on her sistership the carnival magic and am a fan of dream class vessels. I'm a platinum cruiser and love taking Carnival cruises! With that being said, I will list the pros and cons of my experiences while on board the carnival dream with my wife and both my parents. I didn't want to rate the cruise as average because the ...

We just got back from a trip on the Carnival Dream. After having been on a Princess cruise, this cruise seemed classless. The ship was overcrowded, the cruise director was annoying, and the food in the dining room was often cold. The best things were the excursions and ports, and our cabin steward was wonderful. The casino was filled with smoke, and it was difficult to get to some areas of the ...

Our DREAM vacation was NOT!!!

I will start by saying maybe my expectations were to high. But disappointment is all we had from the minute I stepped on board. The people at the guest services are rude, almost to the point that I felt like they were insulted that I would dare complain about anything. The dining experiences were horrible. We did our time dining and that has never been a issue on other ships. We always waited at ...

We decided to cruise Elation for my daughter's college graduation. I usually cruise Royal but this fit our dates and budget. I cruised this ship in 2011 and enjoyed it ok, but so much has change..not for the good. First, I was sad to see the steel drums are gone. That really welcomed you aboard and made you feel that you were on vacation from the start. No live music except the smoke filled casino ...

Very disappointing!

First Time Cruiser • Age 30s

As a first-time cruiser, I expected to be wowed by the ship's facilities but I experienced the complete opposite. The interior is cheap and tacky to say the least! As a UK resident, it reminded me of a tacky trip to Blackpool but on the sea, and for the Americans, it very much reminded me of a very run down hotel on the Las Vegas strip without elegance, class or quality! First things first, ...

Not our kind of cruising

This was our 8th cruise, and our first on Carnival. Mary, my companion has MS and uses a cane. Embarkation was a confusing mess. We were shuffled from one red shirted Carnival employee to another, always with the promise that the next one would be able to secure a wheel chair. We never saw one, and actually boarded ship sort of moved along by the crowd rather than in any organized fashion. ...

Our son recommended Carnival - "Dad, they are all the same once you get onboard" - to us. Previous sailings - RCI Explorer of the Seas; NCL Majesty of the Seas; PCL Emerald Princess In order (best to worst): Explorer of the Seas, Emerald Princess, Carnival Dream, Majesty of the Seas Carnival's pricing made it attractive to us. We won't make that mistake again. Embark/Debark - Nothing too ...

Overall, I was disappointed with this cruise. I have sailed on Princess and Norwegian, and Carvinal pales in comparison. I (single mom traveling with kids) was counting on my boys, age 14 to be entertained and occupied in the kids' center, playing video games, hanging out, like they always have. The kids' center for teens (12-14 and 15-18) was unsupervised and these kids were left to run wild. No ...
