PRE-TRIP PLANNING My wife and I enjoy cruising. With the Norwegian, Princess, and Royal Caribbean cruise lines, we have explored the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The decision to take the Carnival Miracle was because it was going to the South Caribbean and was a different cruise line. The port of calls for the cruise were Grand Turk, La Romana, Aruba, and Curacao. We enjoyed ourselves ...

We flew from Richmond, VA on Jetblue, as always a great direct flight. Stayed at Courtyard Marriott in Dania they pick you up for free and give you free transport to the port the next morning. Rooms are a little pricy but you can walk to the Bass Pro Shop eat at their restaurant on the porch by the water and it's the perfect start to a vacation. Embarkation: Took the free shuttle at 10:00, ...

First, let me preface this by saying that my wife, Kerry, and I booked this cruise specifically for the itinerary. We are newly certified SCUBA divers and chose these ports because of their diving opportunities. It was also our first cruise without our kids...that may have colored my opinion somewhat...LOL! That said, I really have to say we where surprised by the Carnival Miracle. She is a ...

My wife and I are in our late 40's and were travelling alone. We were very lucky to have met many wonderful people on Cruise Critic prior to our vacation and they all made our trip so much better. We are from Ontario, Canada and look forward to our winter getaways. We chose the Miracle because we really like the Spirit class size and ease of getting around while onboard. The fact that we ...

We arrived at the port at 10:45. Check in was easy and we were quickly into the waiting area. We are minor smugglers, and didn't have any issues getting on board everything we needed. Everything was carried on. We had wine, water, soda, beer, and some alcohol. They never asked to look into any of our carry on bags. We also had a couple bottles ordered and delivered to our room thru the bon voyage ...

Returned this Saturday from a great time aboard Carnival's Miracle. We were travelling with a large group of 22 people total and Carnival could not have been more accommodating to our needs. The Main Dinning Room staff made sure we had tables right next to one another which was wonderful for the grandparents in our group who very infrequently get to see their grand children. The waiter's ...

My fiance and I sailed on the Miracle on the 10 Nov 2011 Southern Caribbean sailing. We have sailed Carnival several times and knew what to expect. We drove to the port from our Orlando area home, taking about 3 1/2 hours to get to the port. We used "Park & Go" for parking as they are $6.99 a day instead of the $10.00 - $20.00 a day the port charges and they are only a mile or so from the port. ...

The cruise was great! Many things to do. You could never get bored. But, since Carnival is a party line most activities were for only adults to participate, while the kids had to sit and watch. On the topic of kids activities, I found that most of the times i tried the water slide, and the camp's counselors were very rude. On one instance a Club O2 counselor was o the phone with her boyfriend ...
