We chose this itinerary because it was out of and back to San Francisco. SF is our home port so there was no flying and only 1 hour by BART. The other part of our decision and the prime factor is we got to play golf on Santa Catalina in beautiful Avalon. Those alone was were the pluses.
Lines to get onboard were not organized although they tried to make it so. You were to show up at 1/2 hour ...
For Spring Break, we didn’t want to commit our entire 10-day break to a vacation, so we opted for the 6-day, double dose of Cabo cruise on the Miracle from Long Beach. What a fabulous decision! One of my kids decided to join my husband and I, so we had three people in an extended balcony (8223). Here are my thoughts and experiences:
Transportation:
We had flights for the day of the cruise ...
We just returned from a 5 night cruise on the Miracle. Myself (age 41) and my son (age 11) traveled with a group of other mothers and my sons friends. We stayed at the Hotel Maya the night prior which I could not recommend more, they have a "park and sail" package which for $219 we got a balcony room with a view, parking and transportation to the ship its a great deal and a nice place to stay. ...
Seem the only option out of Long Beach, and we had sailed Carnival many other times. The arrival and departure were fine. We ate in the steakhouse the first night and then tried the main dining room the next. The service was prolonged. We ordered two glasses of champagne and got what I guess was Spumante. We explained we had had Chandon elsewhere on the ship, and this was too sweet to be a Brut or ...
We tried this company as second cruise to Mexico from LA! Embarkation as bed as previously from same port! Same horrible experiences all the way to our bedroom!
Room itself was adequate for our needs.
Buffet food very blunt, tasteless and noflavours.
Restaurant worst than the Miracle. Same menu and after speaking to Manager in charge, found that he as well couldn’t careless, just like ...
Just got off of Carnival Mircale
I will be quick with this review. Embarkation was very smooth as was Debarkation. The ship is dated. Some wear and tear that is visible in the common areas. We had sailed on the Panorama in October and that ship is big and beautiful, Mircale is not. Food in the buffet was the worst I have ever had, and I am not a foodie or connoisseur by any stretch. Food was ...
This was supposed to be a "special sailabration cruise" Nothing special about it! They take your money and make changes at the last minute blaming covid. You never knew you were on a sailabration cruise until the very last day. Lido deck was very boring. No entertainment except a DJ. playing music a few hours everyday. 5 very boring days at sea. Entertainment at the phantom theater was like ...
Thank you for bringing my wife and I closer on our honeymoon, your customer service is awesome, food is good, non stop activities and all POSITIVE VIBES!!! Freddy and Neto were awesome with the atv’s not to mention they were very funny!!! Thanks to the Alejandro brothers also the cowboys on the horse trail teaching us how to ride horses and Rita!!! We appreciate how we can order our food and take ...
This was my first cruise and I'm indifferent if it will be my last one or not. The boarding process was fairly simple and we were upgraded to a balcony room, which might be because not that many people were on the cruise, but regardless that was a nice surprise since we originally booked a room with just a window.
Food:
This was probably the worst part of the whole cruise. The dining room ...
First time for me on Carnival. Wife's second. Long time cruisers over 25 total. Sitmar, Princess many. Oceania Norwegian, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean many. After reading some not so good reviews on Miracle and my past readings about Carnival in general I didn't expect much on this Cruise. It was a 5 day LA Cabo round trip. The price was cheaper than flying to Cabo so why not. All I can say is that ...
