(245 sq. ft., balcony 220 sq. ft.) Private wrap-around balcony. Two twin beds (convertible to king-size bed). Separate bedroom area. Sitting area consisting of sofa, armchair and coffee table. Two TVs with A/V input plate; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; wall safe; large closet; walk-in dressing area with vanity table and chair; full bathroom with shower/whirlpool tub and double sinks; hair dryer; mini bar. Balcony: Patio chairs and table.
Pretty noisy aircon and sea noise though 2 French doors and a window but clean and tidy spacious for two people we didn't ask to move but had them look at the noise, which they did but it made no difference. Wrap around balcony was a bit untidy furniture for four but a bit murky. But we slept soundly the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage but not enough for 2 adults and if us share with kids I guess it wouldn't work. Wifi in my cabin kept cutting out infact it was pretty useless we were to far away and not worth $72 I didn't complain guest services queue was always to long, I just made the most of free wifi on land overall I think we will go carnival again but choose a cheaper balcony option. The cabin was the nicest one we have had on a cruise. It was very nice in size. It had an area with a large mirror and dressing table like feel with a bench for doing make-up or using a laptop. The closet was located here. The other room had the bathroom.
There was nice seating available along with the bed. Read entire member review >>
Carnival Spirit class ships feature "vista suite" wrap-around cabins on the aft-corners on the three upper decks. Our cabin was on the port side, 5th deck. These cabins feature balconies that are almost all aft (as opposed to the extended balconies on the Conquest class, which have plenty of real estate on both the port or starboard and aft), which are more than adequate for two people to sunbathe. They have twin vanities, and a tub-whirlpool, which I actually don't care for - the tub is too small to actually bathe in, and awkward compared to the shower-insert units found in most other cabin categories. Excellent cabin. Had to ask for soap. They no longer offer hand lotion which all the cruises I been offer lotion. The cabin was excellent because of location and amenities. I would have like the lotion which is a nice touch. Read entire member review >>
Vista suite is the best value for our money we have experienced on any of the cruise lines.
The separate rooms was a delight when one of us wanted to sleep late or go to bed early.
The decor was tasteful and elegant. The bathroom was great, a lot of room, the shower and jacuzzi tub were a delight.
The placement of the TV in the living room area was a little too high and I found my neck getting sore watching, however the flat screen TV in the bedroom was even bigger and we had no complaints there.
We love being in Aft rooms as you are normally protected from the wind, and so this was another plus about having the Vista balcony.
I would definitely get a Vista suite again. Read entire member review >>
Great room large and accommodating! Great shower, the room was always too cold and they couldn't figure out why.. Always got wet when they washed the serenity deck. I will book the same room one or two decks lower next time. The wrap around balcony is the reason to get this cabin. So big it's crazy! 3 lounge chairs, and 3 deck chairs.. You could have 10 people on there and still have room to move.
Highly recommend the Vista Suite Read entire member review >>
This cabin was just fantastic. The balcony was huge with 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a small table. We spent a lot of time on the balcony sunning and reading and just relaxing. The aft location was perfect for us. We felt as if we rented a private villa. There was more than enough storage space so we never felt cramped. The stateroom attendant, Efren, did an excellent job. This was our best cruise so far. Read entire member review >>
The ship was well maintained. The walk-in closet was a great plus in our cabin. As was the dressing room. The biggest problem with this cabin is that it spoils you for anything smaller! Read entire member review >>
spacious balcony, aft views were marvelous, the cabin was quiet and very spacious. Very roomy closet, had no problem storing luggage and staying out of each others way. Nice beds, comfortable, supportive. Read entire member review >>
8273, like 8268 on Deck 8 has the huge wraparound balcony!
Double bathroom sink, jacuzzi tub, walk-in closet, two televisions. You will hear deck chairs being moved around morning and evening. People on deck 9 above will sometimes throw garbage/cigarette butts down - so if interested in this cabin, you may want to book deck 7 instead. Read entire member review >>
