Review for Carnival Miracle to Mexican Riviera

We chose this itinerary because it was out of and back to San Francisco. SF is our home port so there was no flying and only 1 hour by BART. The other part of our decision and the prime factor is we got to play golf on Santa Catalina in beautiful Avalon. Those alone was were the pluses. Lines to get onboard were not organized although they tried to make it so. You were to show up at 1/2 hour ...

No enforcement of CDC mask protocols

I am shocked to see many people without masks or masks well below their noses in public areas walking around. They walk right by staff and no one says anything to them. The buffet servers even serve maskless people food. If you care at all about Covid 19 this is not the ship for you. I spoke with managers in Lido Deck dining area and pool areas. They say they can not do anything about ...

The cruise itself was like many others. And a good time was had by all. I’m writing because of the amazing staff,..... When we were caught up in the coronavirus scare. When it was realised we had to find somewhere else to dock because we could not get back to san francisco, the guest services dept and rest of crew rearranged transport for everybody from san pedro , worked all night to get ...

Great Service...Great Destination!

Review for Carnival Miracle to Hawaii

We chose this cruise for the length (15 Days) and the destination (Hawaii). Boarding the ship in San Diego was extremely organized, once you got through security. The security line was pretty much a free-for-all. I read reviews about the ship being in bad shape. Yes, it's an older ship that was weeks away from dry dock, but the ship was in great shape! Very clean and all public areas were in ...

I just wanted to post some thoughts on the Miracle. We sailed her on a short 3-day out of San Diego, leaving last Friday and returning yesterday morning. This is technically my 4th cruise overall- the first was on Royal Caribbean so many years ago I can't remember it, then the Carnival Imagination (or Inspiration... I get them confused) almost 4 years ago, Ruby Princess in March 2019, and ...

Felt Like a Budget Cruise

Upon hearing that Carnival was beginning to leave from San Diego, my family decided it would be a great first cruise for 5 year old twins. We took a New Years cruise to fit in winter break. My husband and I have cruised previously (including on Carnival). Embarking was pretty quick and straightforward. We had one of the first embarkation times and made it fairly smoothly on. Getting off the ...

I was very apprehensive on booking this carnival miracle cruise because of the bad reviews I had read and also I had only cruised with NCL in the past. I had previously been on 2 cruises both on the big ships (breakaway & Epic). I found that I like the smaller ships much better. The miracle was less crowded. It has 3 pools so there was never a problem with chairs. The first morning I got up ...

I've cruised with Carnival before, we liked the itinerary, and the price was reasonable. The food was excellent and the wait staff and cruise director were great. Also, we really enjoyed the ship's entertainment. The spa and the showers in the locker room were very nice. The ship itself is pretty warn out. Our stateroom was not clean upon arrival (we found clothing tags, contact lenses, hair ...

Reviewing the Carnival Miracle

The embarkation process was very easy once you get past all the traffic and chaos at the port leaving Tampa. One thing that we did not like is when we were getting dropped off the people that collect the bags were throwing them on a cart which were falling all over the road and hit our car. When we went to give our bag to the person collecting them(which we were already iffy about after what we ...
