Cruised on the Carnival Splendor from Miami to the Western Caribbean with me (39yo) and six family members. Room 8293 was nice as it was close to the elevators. Never had an issue with noise. The outdoor movie screen by the pool was a hit with my family. This ship didn't have the Blue Iguana by the pool, or the nice Splash Zone that newer Carnival ships have. Went on a cruise with 16 people all family children and elderly. NOT CHEAP
I must say getting on the ship was fantastic and getting off was fantastic. I felt it was very organized in that department and the shows were impressive tj was awesome . Dont want to discredit the people who care.

Embarked on Carnival Breeze on 2-13-16.
Our suite on the 7th floor was great. The room steward not so much.
The food choices were very limited. If you didn't like it the first day, you were stuck with the same food the rest of the cruise.
Our first port of call was Grand Turk, which was cancelled due to weather conditions. Understandable but disappointing.

Been to Jamaica, GC & Cozumel before. This was better this time. The shore excursions have really increased so I didn't go to a beach like I wanted. But I enjoyed the stopover anyway. The meals were pretty good. Better than in years past. But don't waste your time at the Steakhouse. The service & décor is superb, but they might as well be serving shoe leather!
