Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival refund check bounced

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

Embarkation was a mess - they need to figure out a better system for the Covid paperwork. The cruise overall was fine. Will be better when the mask restrictions are over- huge pain to carry around when you’re going from the pool etc. Main dining room food has really declined. The extra $ restaurants are the only option. Ji Ji and the steakhouse are the best. Things like the piano bar are just ...

First time for me on Carnival. Wife's second. Long time cruisers over 25 total. Sitmar, Princess many. Oceania Norwegian, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean many. After reading some not so good reviews on Miracle and my past readings about Carnival in general I didn't expect much on this Cruise. It was a 5 day LA Cabo round trip. The price was cheaper than flying to Cabo so why not. All I can say is that ...

The main reason we chose this cruise is that it would be in Cabo for a day and a half and we have friends living there that we wanted to visit. The Carnival Miracle worked out perfectly for our needs. We got to spend 2 wonderful days with our friends who showed us around their beautiful area. We knew the ship was a little older but everything was fine and the price we paid was fantastic. The ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

This review is for the New Years 4-night cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada. I've twice sailed Disney and once Princess. This probably isn't fair, but my expectations were not exactly high. As it turns out, I was really happy with the experience overall. ~ Food & Drinks ~ The food in the MDR was very good each nigh we went (Your Time dining). We only ate at the buffet once, which was ...

I had some time off between holidays, so I decided that this cruise would be a great little get away for me and my son. We had just gotten back from Panorama a month earlier (7 night Mexican Riviera) and Carnival sent me some really cheap offers through email and I couldn't resist. We booked the three night from Long Beach to Ensenada, Mexico. We really liked the ship and it is in great shape. The ...

Good but not great

We took a short Mexican Riviera cruise and have mixed feelings on this one. While I realize that Covid has changed a lot of things on a cruise ship, I was a bit disappointed that: - No production shows, although there were many comedy shows, which were packed - Internet and chat went out a few times. Connection was sporadic ... had to do with the server. - Masks required outside ...

2 years ago I moved from New York to California, so I've been wanting to cruise out of the West Coast to see what it's like. We had to wait a year longer than we'd planned, but we finally got to set sail on the Panorama and it was impressive. The ship is very understated and classy, a big change for Carnival. I've been on the Miracle, Splendor, Sunshine and Dream in the past, and the Panorama ...

Bunkering on the Carnival Panorama

One may ask what is bunkering? I found out the use of this word when on the Panorama during embarkation and debarkation why? Because our ingress and egress were met with a stenching fuel smell. When I inquired about the smell a crewman said, "Oh, that's bunkering! We are all used to by now." NOT ME! My wife was the first to detect it, but even with my periodic sinus difficulties I ...

Embarkation: Carnival sails out of Long Beach and are still using the giant geodesic dome as their cruise terminal. It took over a hour to get on board. After standing in line for half an hour we finally got into the terminal where we had to show our passports and boarding pass. Then we had to stand in line again where we had to show our proof of covid-19 vaccine and a negative covid test taken no ...

Propulsion system still not fixed, short stay in Cabo, late arrival back at Long Beach

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

This was our first cruise since the pandemic but 21st overall. After booking this cruise in July, I received an email from Carnival stating that the order of port visits would be reversed with two seas days to start, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan then Cabo and one sea day. While not explained, this is due to some type of propulsion issue with the ship (cannot maintain normal cruising speed) that has ...
