Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival: Bad food and entertainment

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I cruised Carnival's Miracle and Sunrise essentially back to back in December 2021.I'll have more to say on Carnival overall in the Sunrise review I plan to post. I am no fan of Applebee's. I find the food mostly gross with, at best, a few decent options. That's what I expect from non-specialty restaurants on cruise ships. Food on Miracle fell below those expectations. Cruise ship ...

More of a Floating Dorm than a Vacation

Had been happy with Carnival many times before, but this is the last time for me. Took the same trip in 2012 on another Carnival ship. This one has no place where passengers can see forward: No windowed lounge and the promenade decks were closed. Dining required use of an app. Can't even get a table without it. Almost impossible to get a printed menu. Plastic tables and no table cloths. ...

Horrible Cruise on the Miracle

I planned a 50th Birthday cruise for my husband and I. We did research on Carnival's website thoroughly about Covid, found that you required a 48-72 hour negative test for Covid. We thought that was a tight time frame to expect a result back so we got our test 72 Hours before. It was negative. We have our vaccination and booster shots as well. Upon entering the FIRST initial waiting area we ...

Lax Covid protocols. Bland food/entertainment. Had its pluses, though.

Oh my. Where to begin. Hmm. Let’s start with the boarding process. Embarkation was so poorly planned (regardless of the ship being late). Little to no signage. Onsite staff didn’t have answers… or had conflicting ones (one said to come back; the other said to stay). We had an 11AM check-in time and were told to come back at 2PM. We came back at 1PM (to be safe) and there were no clear signs of ...

Disapointing cutbacks

one of 1st available, I was really looking to get back to cruising & was really disapointed in some of the cost cutting by Carnival, ie; no longer providing next day's Activities sheet delivered to your cabin (you had to hunt to find one at various places around the ship), cabin steward service only done once a day, no ice cream at buffet (only soft serve machine), no crackers/croutons anywhere ...

Too Many People, Lounges and Dining Venues Too Small

On our cruise there were about 2,7000 passengers which is close the ships double occupancy level, but not over it. On our sea day, every bar was completely slammed. Waits for drinks were long, and when you did get hem the bartenders were so overworked and stressed that drinks came out incorrect. I ordered a white russian and it came out just milk and vodka. The bartender forgot to add the ...

Carnival Miracle Still needs work out of Dry Dock

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We chose a aft balcony to come through the canal, hoping to enjoy the many sea days on the balcony and de-stress, relax and enjoy the break of the daily work grind. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! We had oil droplets spewing from the funnel each and every day and these oil drops were landing on us, destroying our clothes, and not able to sit out without enjoying a daily spray of oil. Our room Stewart was ...

I chose this cruise for a 70th birthday blowout with my family. Big mistake. We love Carnival and have cruised with them 3 previous times. I was excited to book on this new ship however I did not investigate it enough. I am mobility challenged with RA and OA and bring a walker with me. My review is mostly based on these facts, not for an able bodied person as my family enjoyed the trip more ...

Uninspiring

We chose this cruise because it was a brand new ship and thought it would be exciting. It was not, and was a rather bland experience compared to other cruise ships we have been on. I don't think there is anything exciting about this ship. The ambience was very lacking. Lots of advertising for this ship about many things to do on the ship, yet many are just a small area stuck in a corner ...

New ship, new port, previous experience on Vista class ship, bad experience from arriving at LAX to use Carnival us transport but upon arrival could not not find representative not any indication of Carnival Rep, no signs, posters, etc. Spent over 1 hour at LAX after getting baggage before as able to locate Rep, then had go take all baggage outside of terminal, walk about 400 yards, then met bus. ...
