Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

A Value Driven Cruise!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We chose this cruise for an annual Commodore's Cruise with our yacht club. 65 members and plenty of fun. Easy transportation to Long Beach Harbor for embarkation since we all reside within an hour commute. The Carnival Cruise Ships are all about value! 3,000 passenger cruises are affordable but you pay a price for crowds and and less quality! Our stateroom was Cabin 4180. Unobstructed, ...

Chose this cruise because we had a discount through AmEx and it was fairly close to where we live. Was able to make it from north county san diego to port in less than one hour. Parked at terminal it was about 20 dollars a day. Paid a porter 5 bucks to take our bags while we parked. Garage has very low ceilings watch out. Paid for the faster to fun and go on ship right away with no delays. Once ...

Great Service Oriented Crew on a Old Worn Out Ship

For those of us in the west wanting to cruise in summer and not go to Alaska, Carnival is only line with the Mexican Riviera option. We prefer Princess but they have nothing to offer during summer months off west coast other than Alaska. We were very impressed with service we received from our cabin steward Jeannette, Head Waiter Virgil and his team and when we had issues with onboard Premium ...

Me, my wife, and my two adult daughters ages 22 and 25 had a great time. Getting on and off the ship was always easy. Our two cabins 5150 and 5152 were plenty large enough and the attendant did a great job preparing our rooms. The only concern is that my room 5152 could have used little better air conditioner. It didn't cool down as much as we would have liked. We were at table 200 for all of the ...

Not the Best of Our Cruises

We had friends that had never been on a cruise and this was a "trial run" for them. Otherwise we never had planned to do a Mexican "Riviera" cruise. The first night there was a problem getting food. The waiter kept apologizing for being so slow with but then we had almost a one-hour wait for the entree. It was moderately warm by that time. We did complain to the Head Waiter (Anil) and the hostess ...

This is our 16 cruise, we have cruised with Carnival multiple times, but, this was the most disappointing cruise ever. It was not the employees, but they lack of service provided. First the ship is so outdated and not very family friendly with its decor. The food was plentiful but strangely common. Almost the same menu a couple nights in the dining room. Our servers (although the same ones ...

Terrible Ship, Rudest crew I have ever had on a cruise

I choose this cruise because it left out of Long Beach and we just did not feel like flying this year. I was very disappointed, in the cleanliness of the ship as well as several of the crew members where very rude, Three times with bartenders, one of them twice. Dining reservations messed up and they had received 5 calls prior to sailing to make sure that was taken care of right. Nasty, rude ...

Ship Old, Front Desk the Worst

1) Could drive to embarkation port... so that's why we did this cruise. 2) We got to the port after our designated check in time, so it was very easy to get on. 3) Ship was old - and the pool area needed serious updating. However, there were lots of hideaway places - and you never felt like you were constantly surrounded by crowds. 4) Food was average - nothing spectacular. Not ...

Loaded with screaming kids

We picked this cruise because of the itinerary. The ship is very small and a little dated. The theming is bizarre to say the least. Food was average, the staff was AMAZING. The only complaints were the millions of screaming babies and little kids all in the pools and hot tubs... The adult Serenity area was jammed packed and that area was small. But we loved going to Puerto Vallarta - that was ...
