Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Just above average!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

Dining and shows were just above average. We LOVED the pasta bar and deli! Pizza and guys burgers were great too. Mongolian was disappointing. Shows were very crowded even 20-30 minutes ahead of the doors opening, large groups tended to send people to go save more seats than they needed which made it hard to find seats. Really enjoyed 2 of the 3 shows we found seating for. Love and Marriage was ...

First Time on the Radiance

Honestly, the only reason I took this cruise is because I'm about to hit Platinum, and I wanted to get more sail days in to get to 75 a little sooner. It was an alright cruise, but I will admit the weather took "some of the wind out of my sails" (forgive the pun). Weather kept our cruise from going to Catalina Island, so we went directly to Ensenada. Three sea days on a four day cruise is a ...

We embarked on a 7 day Carnival cruise on Panorama leaving Long beach. There are a lot of ways to do cruises, excursions, ect, this is how I did it and my family of 6 (4 kids 12, 13, 15, 16) had a fabulous time. First of all, we ubered from LAX to the port, no problem 67.00. We were early so we went to one of the restaurants about 10 minutes away and had lunch for 1.5 hours. Once back at port ...

this cruise would be great for families and all of our kids loved it begging to go on another but maybe not as great for couples or teenagers kids clubs were good and the waterslide to not as great for adults though it was mediocre at best for adults the kids enjoyed mini golf, waterslides, ropes course, and pools + spas but the jacuzzis were always very full with kids splashing and jumping in. ...

Overall had a great time on panorama

The only downside was the food in the main dining room was subpar. I last cruise pre-Covid in 2019 and the horizon in the food was much better almost identical layout to the panorama but the food in the panorama dining room was not good. Food and other venues was good and plentiful overall it was a very nice experience the only exception was going to the main dining room which of course you look ...

Background: The Carnival Radiance is a party ship. Having cruised in the past with Celebrity, NCL, and Carnival. I’ve done the 3 day weekend booze cruise to Ensenada on Inspiration, I knew what I was getting myself into. I took this trip with my 4 friends to celebrate our birthdays. We go to college in California and thought this weekend trip would be perfect (and more affordable than Vegas). We ...

Great Cruise but some room issues

This was my first time on the Mexican Riviera Itinerary and sailing out of Long Beach. The embarkation process was overall very smooth, there were lines for each boarding time, and it progressed smoothly. Once onboard, the ship was great. The atrium is really pretty with the holographic center, but it was kind of underwhelming too compared to the older ships with the extravagant atriums. The ...

Nice modern ship

Boarding took about 2 hours from arriving at the terminal to entering our stateroom. Though organized boarding was slow. Even though I completed “VERIFLY ”, I had to produce all the documentation again at check in. I thought VERIFLY was about speeding up check in?? First impression of the Panorama was a modern color palette that still had fun elements. Not formal but still had a wow factor. ...

Good for short local cruise, you get what you pay for

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

My family has been through a lot the past 18 months and hadn’t been on vacation together since June of 2020. When the opportunity for a short affordable local trip caught my eye, I couldn’t resist. Our prior cruises and points of comparison were on the Norwegian Pearl and the MS Westerdam. We had a great time (two adults, two teens) on Radiance for four nights. We had two ocean view cabins on ...

A friend of mine paid for a cruise and his girlfriend broke up with him. So, he asked me to go along with him and I happily obliged. This was my first cruise on Carnival and I was rather skeptical. Simply based on what the internet peeps say about Carnival being a bad cruise line. Embarkation was an absolute nightmare! They have a system in place and they give each passenger a time slot ...
