Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Not a baby or toddler friendly ship

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

We went on the carnival panorama cruise for an extended family Christmas vacation. There were 3 things that were extremely frustrating as a mom of 3 children. 1. There are absolutely NO CHANGING TABLES or stations for babies around the cruise ship. Multiple times I changed my 1 1/2 year old child on the floor in a hallway or a corner of a room. The bathrooms don’t even have a small counter to ...

Things have definitely changed

I understand there are a lot of changes since I last took a cruise and covid but some of it - either didn't make sense or I just didn't like it. One of the reasons we took this trip was due to the good price and it has been a long time since we have gone any where. If you are looking on the price, then we got what we paid for. Many of these things are not deal breakers but would be nice to have ...

Very Friendly Crew, Great Amenities, but this ship needs to be renamed the Carnival Slamorama

We have cruised on many different Carnival ships over the past few years and have a broad range of experiences with different cabin classes and the amenities and layouts of both their older and newer ships. We stayed in a balcony cabin this time around and as Gold VIFP members, got the almost zero perks our class of membership gets. After sailing 50 nights over the last few years, we still have 25 ...

Chose this cruise because of the cost. Guess you get what you pay for. Stayed in balcony Cabin #8241. While the cabin was the expected size, found the TV extra small, and a lack of channels to watch. Half of channels were Carnival oriented. No good movies, and no news channels. Bathroom shower floor very slippery and no grab bars provided in the shower, which made taking a shower ...

The Gap between Carnival and Princess

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

We took three Princess cruises in the last 9 months. While all these trips were enjoyable, we didn’t feel the current service level on Princess is as good as what we experienced before Covid epidemic. Since Princess is on the decline and our last Carnival cruise was almost three years ago, we were wondering what has been happening to the previous service gap between Carnival and Princess? Here is ...

Dress code

I'm ok with Carnival, it's low cost, food is fine the staff have always been wonderful. Yeah the lack of classy types is a bit annoying, poeple bunping into you, feet up on the furniture, children running in the halls late hours. All I ask is that when the ship designates a dining room dress code they enforce it!! We like to dress for the dining experience yet look around and t-shirts, flip flops, ...

All the covid requirements still got covid on this cruise

To start off getting on the boat was awful!! Longest lines and what was the point of verifly if they had to review all your documents at 3 separate locations it was ridiculous waiting hours in line to wait in 3 more looking at the same stuff! Finally get on the boat and our refrigerator never worked the entire time and neither did the on demand movies. We bought the bottomless bubbles package and ...

We chose this itinerary because it was out of and back to San Francisco. SF is our home port so there was no flying and only 1 hour by BART. The other part of our decision and the prime factor is we got to play golf on Santa Catalina in beautiful Avalon. Those alone was were the pluses. Lines to get onboard were not organized although they tried to make it so. You were to show up at 1/2 hour ...

We chose this Cruise because it was short and close to our home. The embarkation was fast and easy. When we enter our stateroom we were disappointed in the dullness and size. There were very few places to store things and the bathroom you could sit on the toilet brush your teeth and almost take a shower at the same time. Only for small glass shelves to store your things. Our balcony was about 6 ft ...

Carnival Panorama May 21-28, 2022 Mexican Riviera We are a retired couple in our mid-60s, out of our 30 cruises, this is our 8th on Carnival. Other cruise lines we have experienced are Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian, and Celebrity. We chose this cruise as our first after the pandemic because it was a simple one-hour flight from Phoenix and we were more comfortable with ports ...
