Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Just not that good…

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

We chose this cruise on Carnival Radiance a few weeks in advance due to cost. We’d taken two Mexican west coast cruises on Carnival before under similar circumstances on two of the old Fantasy class ships before COVID and had been pleasantly surprised both times. Sadly that didn’t carry over to their larger and newer sister. Radiance first and foremost has way too many people on board for her ...

This cruise has as much seasoning as the food.

You will find there are times when it tastes good, but most of the time it’s relatively bland and I am not even talking food. Let me explain and I will also throw in some tips to help you get a little more spark from this expensive 2 star boat ride. This may be too long for a lot of you…so I will put some TLDR at the bottom to get you what you need to know. For the rest of you… First and fore ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

We choose this cruise due to convenience, price, and kid amenities. We did not buy a drink package. We did not buy the wifi. Felt like the whole cruise was a sales conference. Food was just ok. Ship only has 2 pools for normal people on the whole ship. Beers almost 9 bucks a piece. I still saved a little by not buying the package. Bring your own soda if you can. The package for soda is not ...

Booked this cruise based on price and length of cruise. Wanted my family including my boys to get a taste of a short cruise. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Food was just ok. Large variety of food choices. Burgers, pizza, chicken, and BBQ just to name a few. Interesting travelers/clientele. Budget cruise. You get what you pay for. Smelled a lot of marijuana. Travelers were drunk the ...

Carnival Radiance - Review/Disappointment

Having been on the Carnival Radiance 6 prior times, this time really stood out as BAD! Embarkation and Disembarkation went great. That is about it however. Food was bland at best in MDR. Food quality has really gone downhill since before covid. They really need to change up the menu more often. Shaqs Big Chicken usually is really good. This time it was terrible. The chicken was two ...

Not good. I’m on ship now. There’s been no communication. There’s been soot on our patio in back ship. Curious where soot coming from. Some say maybe engine? Gotten on clothes and body. Surprised not addressed. Several times they’ve gone on our patio to clean it without notifying us. Glad we weren’t getting dressed. There’s been so many issues. The lining at pool at Havana also is coming apart got ...

The Walmart of Cruises

The title says it all, this is the Walmart of cruises. Yes, Carnival weekend trips from Los Angeles to Mexico are clearly the cruise line version of the proverbial booze cruise, so you should expect a somewhat different type of cruise then what is normal in the cruise experience, but this is even worse. The Bad The food is atrocious and the service abysmal. Like others have said the Guy ...

This was the first cruisae for my wife and I. The weather, overall, was very bad. Cool, overcast, with drizzling rain, mostly. We had one day that was partly sunny, enough to catch a few welcome rays on deck. Trying to nap in the deckside lounge chair, though, was a fool's errand, with all the noise (mostly people talking loudly). We had a stateroom on the 5th deck, starboard side, ocean ...

Probably last time on Carnival

We stayed in a Family Harbor inside cabin with 2 pullman beds for 4 people. The room itself felt spacious and our room steward was great. However, there were many issues onboard. Considering it's a newer ship it seemed pretty run down and falling apart. The Family Harbor lounge's doors kept breaking. They'd repair it and not even 12 hours later it'd be broken again. If you're staying in FH anytime ...

Probably last cruise

I’ve been sailing on Carnival Panorama since they restarted during covid. A few weeks of back to backs between Sept 2021 and now. This has to be the worst trip. The free food and service has gotten worse not better. With Camp Ocean and kids camp open more kids with no parental supervision leaves a lot to be desired. Do not stay anywhere near Camp Ocean - kids hanging out on stairwells. Yelling ...
