Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Never Again

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

All and all a good value for your dollar. Good service staff. The issues remain in the nickel and dime and remaining at the mercy of a non-American staff who for the most part are excellent but not that good in the event of issues. Dining room offers decent food that’s included. Much of the food is average to sub-par. Ship filled to maximum capacity and crowded. Port destinations were Puerto ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We have went on many cruises and have always enjoyed our time. The Miracle is a smaller ship, you can feel the waves if you’re on the back or front of the ship. Food in the dining room was nice but not excellent, they have made it where you have to pay for room service and menu is not that great. Staff was great! The last two days were not good for us, we decided to eat breakfast out by the ...

Expereinced cruiser thoughts on this ship and Carnival as a whole - Just ok. Mostly b/c the value has gone down a ton.

Let me preface this. We enjoyed the cruise and had a lot fun. Keep in mind all the prices I quote here are criminally jacked up spring break prices. Sometimes I wish my kids were home schooled just to be able to take off peak vacations sigh. And all of the cruise staff was beyond wonderful and hard working and great and should be paid the lion share of the profits (tho they probably aren't). Keep ...

Good Budget Cruise... Bad Weather We Had

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

If you're choosing a budget friendly option look no further than the Carnival Radiance mexico sailing. We had a good time and enjoyed spending alone time on our honeymoon (all we wanted, really). Unfortunate to go in winter months Nov-Mar because Mexico is still frigid and we barely spent any time outdoors. All hot tubs were always packed and never got to enjoy waterslides, movies... otherwise ...

Girls trip!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

We found this unbelievably inexpensive trip and decided to make a girls trip out of it. A short cruise sounded like a nice getaway. My husband and I normally take 2-3 cruises a year and have spread our love across several cruise lines. However, I'm a few days away from platinum on Carnival, so we decided on this line for our trip. My friend that traveled with me had only been on one other Carnival ...

My wife and I booked the 7-day Mexican Riviera Cruise on the Carnival Panorama out of Long Beach, CA, joined by 2 adult family in a separate stateroom. We’re retired and looked forward to spending some time together visiting, relaxing, eating, drinking, swimming, gambling, shopping and seeing some of the sights as we traveled the Mexican Riviera. We flew into Long Beach Airport and took a $35 XL ...

Summary: - not-acceptable-bad: buffet food choice is extremely limited, comparable to the low cost buffet on land. - not-acceptable-bad: toilet is extremely small , high health risk if you use public bathroom - good: MDR is doing ok, about average restaurant level. - very good: show is good. - good: entertainment is plenty but most for kids - overall: compare with my previous ...

Good Times, With Some Quirks

So I understand this boat was “recently” remodeled to upgrade it. The finishes were quite nice. All the facilities in general was nice. Now onto the weird portions. Cabin layout: We stayed in one of the “new” rooms in the 5th deck. According to the Victory’s floor plan our room used to be the one of the Aft Lounges. Great! A new room. Except it seemed like the furniture was chosen before ...

Crowded, but great cruise director Deon

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

I chose this cruise because it went out of Long Beach, which was convenient for us. I am used to longer cruises but it was definitely nice to get away for a few days. Loved our CD "Hey, Deon"... can't say enough about him! My main complaint was that it was too crowded and that some of the activities need to be held in bigger spaces (move them from the small bar area to the theater space!). I ...

As a Carnival cruiser since 2010, the cutbacks are really starting to show. No bacon at guys burgers, non existent drink service around the pool and other areas, and lack of entertainment. If you notice, 80% of the entertainment does not cost them anything…I love the comedy shows but think of how much money they save by paying 1-2 people. Anyway, I had cabin 2211. 2 portholes, 1 twin bed with ...
