Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

ANNIVERSARY CRUISE

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Paradise

We chose this cruise because it was short, and only a 2 hour drive from our home. We had an easy commute. On Southern California freeways, this was a pleasant surprise. We arrived early so we could get a parking space in the parking structure --$15.00 per day. We booked a verandah suite which allowed us VIP priviledges, so we waited in the VIP lounge. We didn't have to wait long and were ...

In June 2010, I decided to take a week-long cruise. The four I'd done previously were all on Disney Cruise Lines (Bahamas and Mexican Riviera), but my budgetary restrictions this time around demanded that I take a closer look at a cheaper vacation. Booking through Expedia.com scarcely two weeks prior to sailing, I opted for the least expensive option: a Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera ...

We just returned from our awesome cruise on the Carnival Splendor. Before I forget them, I would like to share all of our findings to better equip you for your future cruise. My DW, DD (2), and I had an awesome time, but there are some things that I wished I knew prior to the cruise. We traveled to So.Cal early to take in a few days at Disneyland. We stayed a short walk away from Disneyland at ...

We have only sailed the Caribbean and Bermuda. I guess we were expecting warm weather because, after all, it was June. Got to Long Beach on Saturday and stayed at the Hilton. It was a beautiful hotel, and Long Beach is a fun place to visit. On Sunday morning the Hilton took us to the port around 11:30. We only had to wait until about 12:15 to get on. It was a sunny day and we sat and watched the ...

This ship, while older has many updated features, from the floors, art, to the bathrooms. We sailed out of Galveston, TX in a balcony cabin. This was our first cruise, our honeymoon, upon boarding the confusion started. The cruise line is not very good at giving instructions on how to board and how to find ones cabin. After about 30 minutes of wandering around we finally found our room and we were ...

7 day Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Splendor

Embarkation: Embarkation was easy. We arrived at around 10AM (way before Carnival's recommended 1:30PM) and found no one at the luggage tag desk. We waited and watched as several porters and even a few Carnival employees came by to check the drawers and left. Finally, a porter came running by handing out luggage tags to those who needed them. We handed in our luggage and proceeded to check in. ...

Just putting in my 2 cents on how our cruise went, since I read each and every one of these before we went. Hopefully it helps someone. It was my inlaws (in their 60's), me, my husband (39) and my daughter 10 and son 6. We stayed at Disneyland before our trip, and used Super Shuttle to get to Long Beach. Picked us up at noon, was at the pier by 12:30. The line was long, but once the dome opened, ...

A Relaxing Week on the Splendor

We chose the Splendor as a change from Florida cruising, being from GA we have always done Caribbean and Bahamas. The embarkation process we fast and efficient, no complaints. As a bit of advice, print your luggage tags at home if at all possible. We saw many people waiting in line for luggage tags when we just dropped ours off with the porter and headed towards security screening. We arrived at ...

We left Utah at 5:00am for the 10 hour drive to Long Beach. We made a stop in Las Vegas for lunch and hit the road again. We spent 2 day prior to the cruise in Long Beach at the Super 8. We got a good deal on the room. The Super 8 has it's good points and it not so good points. We paid $146 for both nights. We had a large room with 2 king beds. The motel is a little older. The good points are--the ...
