Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was our first cruise. I traveled with my husband, and our one year and three year old sons. We were part of a large wedding party of I think over 130 people. Embarkation- Was very easy for us, since we were allowed to board first due to the wedding. We got to the port around 10 am and did not have to stand in line with our luggage for very long. They were still getting the previous ...

This was our first Carnival cruise and we sailed with a 6 y.o. and an 8 y.o. The kids loved Camp Carnival and at one time refused to be picked up. The counselors there did a very good job. Our cabin was lovely, the balcony was a winner -- beautiful view every day, not too windy. The bathroom had a stale urine smell that I could not get rid of. They cleaned the room very well twice a day, but I ...

There were 12 of us (6 couples) that set off on a cruise out of LA on 1/28/11 looking for some rest and relaxation. We boarded the Carnival Paradise about 1pm, headed for the buffet for lunch, and were able to check into our cabins shortly thereafter. Everything about the cruise went well - we enjoyed the food, entertainment, activities and amenities the ship has to offer. The Paradise is an older ...

The cruise itself was a lot of fun, it was the passengers on the ship that were different from any other cruise we have been on. Our neighbors on the balcony beside us brought a 'boom box' and were playing it very loudly whenever we were in port and when leaving the ports. So much for relaxing on our deck when we left the ports. The neighbors above us jumped up and down on the floor and on the ...

This was our 4th cruise with Carnival, all on different ships but this was the second on the Spirit Class. Got to San Diego 2 days early, as we were coming from Alaska and you have to plan for possible flight delays and/or cancellations. Stayed at the Holiday Inn by the Bay. Hotel is a little old, but location makes up for anything. Right across the street from the cruise terminal, close ...

Cruise was 14 Jan to 23 Jan, but we spent a week prior to that in Palm Springs. Drove back to San Diego on the 14th, to the Hertz location, they had a special shuttle to the cruise ship pier, which worked out great. Had no embarkation problems, went smoothly, and were in our room by 2:30. Bags came within the next hour. That night, we had dinner at the Nouveau Steakhouse. They were giving all ...

Getting on the ship was fast and easy especially since we were VIP. Our cabin was nice and clean. Our Steward Sitti was nice and friendly and always said hi when in the hall. Her helper Merill was quiet and, but still said hi and nodded and smiled when you walked by. We had a nice view from our balcony. The room and bathroom was always clean. One side of the ceiling bed was out and they ...

We set out on a sea excursion on New Years Day, 2012 on the Carnival Spirit. We left out of San Pedro which was very nice. This was the second time that we sailed with Carnival Spirit which was 3 months prior. Both were fantastic. In 10/2011 the boarding process was crazy long and drawn out. However, in 1/2012 it was seamless. The boarding was so smooth and so much more relaxing. The ...

My Wife and I just returned from our first cruise. We took the 5-Day Carnival Spirit to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The following is our impression of the service and activities onboard. Embarkation: We couldn't have asked for a smoother process. We had purchased the transfers from the cruise line. When we arrived, we were met in the baggage area by a cruise ...
