Carnival Melbourne Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Truly Disappointing

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

Bridge version. In my opinion the Ship need to be scrapped and Carnival need to invest into further training for staff, lack of maintenance has caused ship to be an eye sore. Rust, corrosion, wear and tear is certainly no priority on this ship. Cleaning is done at an absolute minimum standard. Process are not enforced or sustained. Dirty windows throughout. Furniture torn and damaged. ...

Chose this cruise for price and destination. The ports were excellent on the South Island of New Zealand. The ship was shabby, lots of external rust, and our cabin grubby on arrival. This was attended to when shown to cabin staff. Food of average to poor standard even in the dining room. Long queues to enter. Buffet selection limited, especially with salads and fruits. Coffee in buffet the best ...

First up, check in line was over 90 minutes to get from the start of the queue to check in, till the security line. Water was provided, but it took forever to march up and down 6 lengthy lines. However saying that, once I was seen, I had my sail and sign card and checked in, within 3 minutes. Can't understand why the line was so long. Once onboard I found my eyes needing sunglasses to get the ...

I was one of a party of 16 experienced cruisers aged in the 50's and 60's who had come together to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had a fantastic cruise despite being on Carnival Legend. None of us were expecting a 5 star cruise when we boarded but we didn't expect what we got! First off the good things:- 1. The omelettes in the buffet were very good. 2. They used fresh milk (not UHT) ...

The cruise from hell!

We made a last-minute booking to travel on this cruise to the South Pacific on the Carnival Legend based on a Boxing Day sale and the appeal of it operating from our home port of Melbourne. Embarkation was efficient but we did have the benefit of priority boarding. Other stateroom categories were less fortunate with long queues and delays. By contrast disembarkation was chaotic due to a delay ...
