Carnival Melbourne Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Did a 3 night cruise and loved it. Great ship, great entertainment, alcohol at pub prices, comedy club fantastic, cabin we booked an interior but got a free upgrade to balcony which was good. I don’t get sea sick but did need to take sea sickness tablets as our first night was rough. Thoroughly recommend. Ship didn’t feel crowded lots of spaces including serenity deck for peace and quiet. If you ...

Brilliant trip from Melbourne to Hobart

The crew, security and cleaning staff were all stellar. Melbourne folks are an absolute blast to party with. Carnival Liberty sells more alcohol than any other ship in the fleet largely due to the good folks from Melbourne's love for celebrating life to the fullest! If your looking for a glass-half-full trip then this is the one. It's also largely suitable for families, we could see no ...

I now know why there are bad reviews for this ship on this and other sites , it's the passengers not the carnival spirit !! Our embarkation in Melbourne was problem free and we were able to access our stateroom after a drink and walk around. The stateroom was a reasonable size for 2 adults and 2 children and had good storage. The bathroom was adequate with good water pressure and plenty of hot ...

The wife and I have enjoyed two excellent cruises from Sydney with P&O previously (Jewel 2010 & Pearl 2011). This time we have just come back from trying out the new(ish) Carnival Spirit, sailing from Melbourne to Tasmania and back to Sydney, and we are so glad we did. We read the usual blogs which complained about there being too many kids, food wasn't great, unclean rooms, etc, but we can't ...

We are a couple in our early 60's who had first cruised on our honeymoon in the mid 70's. Having taken a two night sampler on Dawn Princess, we followed up by another cruise on Dawn Princess to view the total eclipse of the sun in November 2012. This cruise we traveled from Newcastle to Melbourne by train, with overnight stops at Campbelltown and Albury where we were able to visit my wife's ...

After reading many negative reviews on various site regarding Carnival Spirit I feel that I need to add my opinion to the mix. From the time of booking this cruise until the date of departure it was a positive experience even getting an upgrade from an obstructed view to a Balcony. Check-in was a smooth process from the time of of arrival at Station Pier to the arrival at our room. Luggage ...
