Carnival Melbourne Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Have been on spirit before ..4 times encouraged a group of 9 to go on this cruise and asked to b seated in the middle area of dining .Bottom level so we could see everything that was going on..And was put in a corner behind a service area where we could see nothing..Asked again and was moved 3 tables away ..The food in the buffet at breakfast and lunch was nearly always burnt and hard..The laundry ...

This cruise came up for a great price. Both my husband and myself hadn't cruised with Carnival before so we were keen to give them a go. My daughter and her husband had cruised on the Spirit and were very happy when they went a couple of years ago. Once on-board the Legend, our initial reactions were that we were surprised at the dated and over the top decorations! They are certainly not to ...

This was our first cruise with Carnival and I have to say that I think it was our least favorite. That's not to say that it was bad, it just did not come up to the standard, overall of other cruises we have been on, this being our seventh cruise. Embarkation was smooth, but very little information was displayed and the staff did not tell you much at check-in. Other cruise lines issue the room ...

Not enough stops around New Zealand

I have never been to New Zealand before. We have travelled with P&O several times and loved it. Carnival legend was disappointing with Luke warm food every meal, even Truffles restaurant the meals had to be sent back to heat them up. Food terribly disappointing. Our cabin was spacious and we had a balcony which I think is pretty necessary. We were constantly running to open the cabin door ...

This was a 5 day cruise departing Melbourne to Tasmania. From the time I got on I could not believe the dated décor of the ship, brown everywhere you could not escape it. Very dated ship with poor activities and poor amenities. The cruise was full of children and those from the less fortunate class. Buffet terrible and dining room food terrible very little choice and stone cold most nights. ...

We selected this cruise as there was a Special pricing: Nearly 50% off!! So that being said " You do get What You Paid for " Cabin-Balcony was ok but the Balcony itself was rusty and not in the best condition. Our Dining service waiters-Second Sitting were excellent. Interacted with the guests and made dining a fun time. Me( male) and 6 ladies. 4 had never cruised before so to them it ...

Overall not a terrible cruise

Embarkation was the usual long lines but they kept moving which was good, staff all friendly during the whole process, Once on the ship we were met with a dark and old looking area which did not give a good first impression. The whole ship is dark and uninviting, the food was extremely disappointing, as it was always cold in the truffles dining room and not very tasty, the buffet food options ...

I have cruised a number of times but this ship was the biggest I have every cruised on. Mistake number 1. Don't get me wrong the ship was well kept, clean, fantastic to explore but way too many people. That's just me I guess. Getting on was easy, no delays. My cabin was a lovely non-obstructed balcony cabin. I had no noisy neighbors. I found the dining room excellent. The food was lovely. ...
