Carnival Hits the Sweet spot! We had a party of 8. Our Cruise was an 8night West Med Cruise round trip from Barcelona. Cabins. One Balcony room, and two inside cabins. We wanted to experience a new, large ship. We thought we would be blown away but we were underwhelmed by the decor and fittings of the ship, Staterooms: Very comfortable with lots of cupboard space. I was lucky enough to sail on the brand new carnival vista. It is great!! We got to embark at approximately 1 pm and were onboard writhing 45 minutes or less. This was our 17th Cruise but the first time with Carnival & it was aboard their biggest ship only launched in May. The boarding was quite slick bearing in mind it takes over 4,000 passengers. Really enjoyed this cruise! The atrium was a bit of a letdown as normally when you first walk on the ship that is the first thing you see and is normally quite grand. This was quite small and nothing exciting. Service was great as usual with Carnival. Purchased a shore excursion for each port with Carnival and was very pleased.
