Outdated, drab, dingy- obsolete

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

During my recent trip on the Carnival Magic ship, I found the decor and ambiance to be outdated, drab, and dingy. The carpet appeared old, and the bedding and curtains in the rooms were not up-to-date. The ship's entertainment, including the music selection, was not to my liking. The DJ played songs from the 80s and 90s almost exclusively, which was unexpected and did not feel current. I was ...

My husband, son and I just returned from a six day cruise on Carnival Magic. Let me start by saying this ship needs alot of upgrade starting with seating, cushioning worn and covered with stains along with carpet. It didn’t smell fresh. Secondly, we had balcony Deck 6 stain furniture and the windows must never get clean because you couldn’t see out your balcony same for the rest of the ship ...

Nice ship, but not a good experience with Carnival

My family (immediate, aunt, uncle, cousins, etc.) and friends all went on this cruise recently and it wasn't like a normal Carnival cruise. Usually on Carnival, there are so many things to do and so much entertainment that you have a hard time deciding what to do. On this cruise, there was limited entertainment - only a few shows and comedy seemed to be the highlight of every night. The comedy ...

We chose this cruise for its destinations and liked the size ship it was. We chose a lower cabin because we had talked to people who enjoyed being closer ro the water even though the balcony view is a little restricted by the over opening in the hull around the balcony. Port of Miami: Awesome organization, no waiting in line if you checked in on line your keys were in your room. we were ...

Between my husband and I we have 11 cruises under our belts. We were so excited to set sail on the Magic, we booked our vacation 5 months in advance and counted down the days for months. This would be our first cruise with our kids. But... We were highly disappointed! We had the worst Cruise Director EVER! He was loud, obnoxious, not professional and a little on the not kid friendly side. The ...

This was a second cruise for my family on Carnival and we won't be going on one again anytime soon or ever. They cared more about the money than service and quality. The dining room food was sub par while service lacked any effort. On "formal" night you'd expect great food/service. Not here. prime rib was overcooked, barely warm (we were one of the first to be seated) and the lobster tail was ...

I cruised Carnival about 10 years ago and decided to give them another try since we had my 7 year old grandson with us, boy that was a mistake ....not impressed! First the good......It was super easy getting on board and my grandson loved going to ocean camp. The Ports were great and loved the Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana taco place. Now on to the not so good....First of all our room was ...

Second time on a Carnival cruise. We were excited about this cruise as it was a much newer ship then the previous one we had been on. We were looking forward to some upgrades onboard and better quality in food. We thought the entertainment was pretty good last year, so we were expecting the same this time. It was a group of 10 of us. Age range from 12-60's. Group agreed to do sit down dining ...

Disappointing

Embarkation was amazingly easy. disembarkation was a mess. They said only one customs agent showed up and they had "no control", REALLY? We were over an hour late, leaving us standing it line. The Balcony room was wonderful and Michael, our steward, was exceptional. Dining was acceptable, once we got into the dining room. Once again, the organization of moving into the dining room ...

Employees are wonderful, no problem there. You only had stage shows on 5 nights. Not even one on the last night. Comedy show got so full there was no room to go see most of them. Should have been in the big theater. You gave us $50 spa card, which was really nice. However, when we went to use it, we were told they couldn't show us a price list and that we could only pick from 4 items. All ...
