Mediocre at best

We got on the boat about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Everything went smoothly. They were well organize at the terminal and efficient. When we got on teh ship, our room was ready so we were able to put our carry-on items away before venturing out to find something to eat. We found the buffet (Lido) and were able to get in a couple of bites. By that time, the food was picked over and we had very ...

We have sailed the Eastern and Southern Caribbean. My family members were interested in the Mayan Ruins so I booked this trip during my college daughter's spring break. I was informed at embarkation that because I did not have a passport I was expected to bring my marriage license as the name on my driver's license does not match my birth certificate - point taken for future cruises. Service, ...

We sailed out of Port Canaveral on the Magic on March 4.In our party we had 7 from Ontario and 2 from Michigan....We are all in our late 50's early 60's and enjoyed the shows in the theatre as well as the bands and DJ's that were there to entertain us... This Western Carribean cruise was what we expected and Carnival did not disappoint us.....From the cruise director Dr E to the rest of the staff ...

Swore off Carnival line 8 years ago. Planned a vacation with co-workers who only travel Carnival. Tried to go in with an open mind this time around. Pleasantly surprised. I think the "Bubbles/booze" package helped keep the waiters at bay. Clientele had more manners this cruise. Do wish Carnival would station "Sanitizer Police" to the buffet areas. Ship was clean most of the time. At sea ...

Service staff cut by at least a third; poor/slow service; terrible coordination

We have been Carnival fans for quite some time... telling everyone who asks that Carnival is the way to go. In the past, we had GREAT service on Carnival. Which is why we were so incredibly disappointed that Carnival is cutting staffing by working on some sort of corporate algorithm of maximizing profits while minimizing staffing/service. The ship itself is beautiful. But it was so incredibly ...

Sail date fit my schedule. The Bottomless Bubbles needs some revamping. My 10 year old son had to go to the bar just for a soda. Really not happy about that. Not worth the $225.00 for the family of 5. I would have been better off to just purchase the drinks as we went. If you are a juice or wate /coffee drinker don't purchase the soda package you will be much happier. Several times the ice maker ...

Booked in Nov.,,,,not a lot of choices during the northeast winter break. Cost $7800. including airfare. First time cruise for my kids and grandkids. They wanted to jump overboard! No entertainment except ear piercing rap music 24/7.....terrible food, sewage smell all over,,,,,smoke filled ,,,,both sides of our balcony were smoking all day,,,,had to keep our balcony doors closed! What a waste of ...

The folks at Rony's Tours took excellent care of us. We had a terrific time conversing with the taxi driver, very personable and proud of where he lives and what he does. The resort he delivered us to was superb. We had a fun day and the ocean was spectacular. Food and drinks were delivered to us at our beach chairs. Great service. When we were ready to leave the driver was already there ...

Hubby and I were celebrating our 24th anniversary and my ?? birthday. We thought embarkation went very smoothly, although all the eating spots were crazy busy...as it typical. We weren't able to dock at Costa Maya, our first port, which was disappointing. The winds were just too strong for that little dock. What this meant though, is 2 days at sea to start the cruise. There ...
