We had to let this go to waste because Elvis would not give us a plate to fit our tiny refrigerator

"Every night, we sat at the lobby bar for a drink which was right by our dining room, then requested a table. While I feel that Carnival has the best pizza for a cruise ship, the pizza on the Magic was mediocre at best...."Read More

My 8th cruise, my 5th with Carnival. I always have a balcony. Ship was being cleaned, counters being wiped down, and floors being washed, swept, you name it, it was being cleaned. Simon the cruise director was awesome. The best cruise director I have had on any of my prior cruises. The shows were spellbinding. The show 88 Keys was riverting. The casino was a lot of fun with a wide selection ...

This was our 23 Carnival cruise and was extremely disappointed. Upon our first use of shower the bathroom flooded. The first meal staff was scraping and stacking our plates at our table as we ate desert. We were served raw and I mean raw meat twice on lido. The eggs looked like soup. Everything was Luke warm at best many items have been removed. Only half the buffet was open on a full ship. ...

We always try to cruise after the winter months we have a small group and have been doing this for years. This year was much anticipated since many were cancelled last year. Having said all that I must say I was disappointed on a few things, First and foremost the internet or should I say the lack of. Another item I was totally amazed by was the food portions at dinner my on entre came with ...

Someone else booked for us. Our suite was very nice and always clean. We spent money at the Steakhouse, we also booked the Chefs table, and the Italian Restaurant. The steak house would not provide a small plate for our left overs that would fit in our tiny refrigerator, We waited hours for our luggage and we were told we had priority. We ordered prosecco several days so we could sit and ...

We flew into the Sanford airport on Allegiant Airlines. It's about a 45 minute drive to Port Canaveral. We used Cocoa Beach Shuttle, which was average. We arrived on Thursday, February 10th. We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Port Canaveral. Friday we spent part of the day at Historic Cocoa Beach Village. It was about a 45 minute drive from the hotel. We checked into Uber and a taxi ...

After the hiatus with cruising it was great to be back. It is a bit different, but still very relaxing and enjoyable. Embarkation: New protocols. Very smooth process. All the staff at Port Canaveral were very helpful and friendly. Most people were observing the indoor mask mandates for all public transport areas, but of course there are still people in a state of denial. We were on the ...

The service was brilliant, entertainment was good, ship was okay, but the destinations were subpar.

This was my 7th cruise on Carnival. Although the Carnival Magic was not a bad ship, the layout was strange compared to all the others I've been on and not to my liking; most of the hot tubs were cold, the ones on the Serenity deck were always full and this was on a cruise only 70% full. The main pool was small and seemed out of place. On a positive note, it had lots for kids to do and also had ...

I’d like to start off by saying how impressed I was with this ship and the staff. Granted, they were sailing at around 50% capacity making it very spacious everywhere, but the crew were more helpful than any other main cruise lines I’ve been on. Boarding from parking to sitting at a bar with my first glass of champers took 1.5 hours (this included completing the muster drill and a quick spa ...

Carnival Magic 9-18-21 5 Day Bahamas Cruise. I was really excited to be able to cruise again after everything being shut down for 18 months. My friend and I take a "girl's cruise" every year and of course missed last year. We signed up for the 9-18-21 5 day Bahamas cruise. We felt like Carnival did a bait and switch because after booking, they changed all of the mask and testing mandates. ...

8-12 Magic- a few tips and tricks

Review for Carnival Magic to Bahamas

Great to be back on a ship. Here are a few tips 1. The BBQ place has limited hours... and great food. Be sure to hit it. 2. On embarkation day the Italian place is open and free 3. There are small rooms with ironing boards and irons for free. My white shirt for formal night was wrinkled and I just asked the cabin steward where the launderette (sp?) place was. 4. On the private ...
