Loud unruly neighbors
"The 2nd night called security after 2 am to ask them to keep it down because people were trying to sleep or go to a common area on the ship to do their loud late night, early morning celebrating. The third night they were at it again and at 3 am I heard one of them go out to the balcony so I went onto our balcony and told them to keep it down or I would call security...."Read More

Good Trip on the Carnival Liberty

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We’ve just returned from a three day cruise out of Port Canaveral with Bimini as the only port of call. We enjoyed a post cruise night at a port hotel to celebrate a birthday. The cruise was a great success. Our party consisted of two couples. We’re all in our early 60’s. One member in our party had special dietary needs. Specifically, he has a tracheotomy and must eat via a feeding tube. ...

Back to back cruise!

I chose this cruise because we could do back to back. My carnival cruise agent, Cristina, took care of all the details. We took the 3 day Bahamas cruise and then stayed aboard and went out on a 4 day Bahamas cruise seeing 3 different ports. We were able to stay in the same cabin which was awesome! We stopped at Bimini where we had a cabana at resort world. Our server was Anthony and took care of ...

Carnival Liberty , nice ship . A bit dated and lacking in a few areas but overall good value for the price . Food in the dining room was hit or miss. With some things excellent and other things not so much. Cabins were clean . Staff was great for the most part. Pizza was amazing! Casino was on the smaller side but still offered plenty of opportunities for those who participate . Build a bear ...

Greatest experience of my life

Me and my family went on this cruise back in July and it was fun. They had dance parties, buffets, and movie nights. The only bad part was that the tv in the room would play the same episodes of the same shows every day but it was fine. The bahamas were great. I went to this rock show and it was loud fun and full of excitment. Our host was amazing he has to be one of my top favorite people in the ...

Very nice cruise

This is our 6th cruise booked with Carnival. It is by far the best food we've experienced on the buffet of any of the previous cruises. The stateroom, which was a suite, was nice but in much need of refurbishment. Actually, the ship overall, from wood railing finishes, paint, to deck flooring was needing attention. None of the previous Carnival ships we cruised were in this condition. Another ...

Great First Cruise Experience - All the pros and cons

I read LOTS of reviews before heading to my cruise, and honestly I began to be fearful of the type of experience we might have on Carnival Liberty based on the negative reviews. Overall, we had a great time and I will include as many details as possible to help others who might be first time cruisers or considering this ship for the first time. The room - It started a little rocky. We boarded ...

Sailing the Carnival Way -Lean into it

First time on Carnival, first time inside cabin, first time guaranteed room vs choosing. Would do it all again. The room was spacious enough, good storage, not claustrophobic. The ship is showing its design age a bit. It was built in 2004, but the design seems older than that. There is a design element that is a problem: There are only three non-hotel floors that you can cross completely from ...

This was very first cruise that wasn't just a casino or day cruise. My cruise mate was a platinum cruiser who was more than willing to show me ropes. Day one, embarkation. Getting through the mayhem of the drug dogs was a breeze and boarding went as easy as you could imagine. We scheduled our embarkation time for 10:30am and was on the boat no later than 11:15. The boat was clean ...

Mature couple - 3rd time cruisers - 1st time Carnival - filling in around the Holiday calendar. Brief trip - affordable - nice break. Passenger capacity seemed to be full - many family groups - we guessed at 20% young persons/children. Ship's décor and aft-cabin suite are dated but, immaculately clean & tidy. Pleasant full staff. Cannot review entertainment amenities or Main Dining as ...

Decent Cruise-AWFUL GUEST SERVICES CUSTOMER SERVICE- only a robot

The cruise was nice enough. It is a value cruise. But they have a few tasty food stations and quite a few budget food stations. There were a few food items I was certain were genetically cultured and not even real food. Upscale dining is not much to be desired but it's the experience. Our room was quite dusty and there were a few tiny hair shavings in the bathroom sink and on the counter top. But ...
