Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
First, our cabin was on the Lido Deck and right near the forward elevators. At times we could hear the entertainment on Lido and the entertainment held at the main bar on the Lobby Deck which was right next to the forward elevators. It got noisy during the day and we could hear activities until about midnight before quieting down.
The very last night of our cruise, a prankster ran past our door and put chewing gum over our peephole before knocking at midnight. No harm, no foul.
In the past, cabins would be made up twice a day but not anymore. Chocolates would be left on our pillows, not anymore. Our room steward was a nice guy and took care of us.
Carnival supposedly has larger cabins than other cruise lines and that was helpful as we had three in our cabin. Read entire member review >>
Pro - Ample closet and storage space. Plenty of pillows and comfortable bed. Very conveniently located.
Con - Balcony windows old and need to be replaced.
Overall - Room was decent sized and clean. Air worked well. Read entire member review >>
Cabin could use upgrading but we didn't stay long in it since there was a lot to do. People above us, you could hear every once in awhile. Other than that, the only other problem is the Cruise Director over the intercom that wakes you up every morning. I wish they didn't do that. Read entire member review >>
We had seen reviews of cabin 1026 that stated the beds were like a hammock. We called customer service prior to cruise date and asked that this be looked at and fixed. When we arrived in our cabin only one bed was hammock-like. We called guest relations and they sent Pepito (the best cabin steward ever!) who said he would see to it. When we came back an hour later the bed was nice and firm. I think he probably put a board or something between the mattress and box springs, but whatever he did fixed the problem and I slept well. The cabin did seem warmer than we like and we had the AC on high but it didn't make a difference.Just had to throw the heavy comforter off in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there were light blankets we could have used as the comforter is wonderfully soft and thick, but too warm for the room.
Pepito was great! He never missed a beat, even when he had to wait for two lazy women to get up and out in the morning. Ice in the bucket every day without asking,...he even put our bottle of white wine in the ice bucket.Always fresh towels and linens and room well cleaned every day. (He needs a Raise!) We stayed in a balcony cabin which had plenty of room for two people. Our room steward, was very kind, knew our names and took care of all of our requests. I'm glad I travel with disinfectant wipes. Even though the room looked clean, I started to wipe down the coffee table, counters, phone, etc, and by time I was finished, I had gone through an entire travel pack of the wipes all of which were black. On Lido deck and room was only 2 rooms away from all the action. From the balcony we could hear the music and activities but was never bothersome in the evening bed time, unless your someone that goes to sleep at 9pm. Read entire member review >>
Great view from balcony, enough storage space for two adults. You can feel the ship pitch and roll more due to the forward and high location. Fortunately I was able to counteract that effect with the transdermal patch for motion sickness. Just the right distant from main forward elevators. Quick hop one deck down to Lido pool, food and fun. Spa level one deck up and Serenity deck is two decks up. Read entire member review >>
Nice room with nice view. Quiet location right by the captain's bridge. Mattress was firm. Only down side was the room temperature the first couple of days...quite warm. Carnival got it corrected and gave us a partial room credit for our trouble. Read entire member review >>
The Cabin- we originally had a balcony cabin on the sixth floor but received an offer a week prior to sailing that we took advantage of. For and upcharge of $300.00 we moved up to a tenth floor cabin and it also included a $200.00 onboard credit. We ended up with a room with the spa above us and more rooms below….win win! The only sound that was annoying was the DJ because we were directly across from the lido deck and the massive speaker system. The room was clean and everything worked. The overall size was adequate but not spacious and the balcony was narrow. Essentially the balcony held 2 chairs, a small table and not much more. The view from the 10th floor was spectacular and enjoyed the sunsets with a cocktail or two. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 1056 is in a great location. There is plenty of closet space and our Cabin stewart, John, was fantastic. It is near the stairs but is relatively quiet. You can sometimes hear balcony doors slam from balconies that are close in proximity, but I would stay in this cabin again. Read entire member review >>
Loved it, will always book as close to this location as possible. Quiet even though it was 3 rooms away from Lido deck. We never heard any noise in our room. I strongly suggest bringing a bungee and sleeping with the balcony door open- it was heaven! Read entire member review >>
A standard balcony room with the balcony uncovered. Very close to the gym and spa, and at the end of the hall so incredibly quiet. Far forward, and a high deck, so there is a considerable amount of motion! Beware! Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony, which meant extra interior space as well. Bed was not as comfortable as others we have experienced, but not bad. Balcony was nice, but our neighbors next door were always smoking outside, which made our experience far less enjoyable. Great location, on deck 10 close to the pool and the Lido deck on 9. Our cabin number was 7339. We had a balcony, which I will never be able to sail without from now on. 7339 is midship and a perfect spot to be away from the noise of the Lido deck at night. We didn't hear anything from above us or the cabins on either side of us. But you will want to take ear plugs with you. The people in the halls have no respect for time of day or night. Small kids ran down the hall at 2 a.m. just as they would at noon. And adults walk down the hall talking and laughing loudly, again time of day didn't matter. That aside, the room and the service of it was wonderful! Read entire member review >>
We love to be located a couple+ floors from dining, entertainment, casino and a floor or 2 from the main lido deck. We were just down the hall from the stairs and elevators... perfect again. Cabin had a couple of issues with drawers off the tracking but all in all, great cruise and room. Read entire member review >>
Great location very close to the main theater but doe not get any noise from the shows and also a good location for embarking and debarkation. Three flights from Lido was OK. All in all a location that worked well for us and it is right by the forward stairwells and elevators - no long treks down the sometimes crowded, narrow hallways. Read entire member review >>
We asked for adjoining balconies and were told that even though our balconies adjoined, the partition could not be opened. We would have asked for another room at the time of reservation had we known this. Agents need to be aware of rooms that are like this and not confirm adjoining balconies when that isn't what passengers will receive. Read entire member review >>
Plenty of closet space. Small bathroom, but as expected for a ship. I would never take a room without a balcony. I need air and space. Mid ship is the best. We were slightly aft on the 7th floor & I did not have a problem with that. Read entire member review >>
Very comfortable. Only one outlet in cabin and one in bathroom. If you are recharging alot of stuff you may need a power bar. No clock in the cabin. Tons of storage. Loved having the balcony. Read entire member review >>
