Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
I was afraid it would be too small but for how little time we spent in the room it was more than adequate. The balcony was great for sun rises and sunsets. It was great to have a place to read or soak up a few rays that was away from all the hustle and bustle of the main decks. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a nice size. We had four people in our cabin, and we were not too crowded. They converted the couch into a bed, and had another bed that came out of ceiling for our kids. My wife and I shared the king size bed. Read entire member review >>
Did not like the Cabin. The thermostat was broken and the AC was full cold all the time, so cold I had to sleep under both blankets like it was winter in NY. When I arrived it was set for full heat but yet it was full cold. Whenever I reported it they were difficult with me not accepting the problem. They never fixed it I just had the maintenance guy disconnect the damper in the ceiling and sailed with the system turned off, fortunately it was not hot outside so that worked for me. The balcony does not have sliding doors instead it uses a regular open close type door with a heavy spring resulting in the door always slamming closed thus you hear slamming doors all day and night from the surrounding rooms. The balcony glass was really dirty that you couldn't see through it well. The balcony lights were bright and mounted above the dividers so when the neighbors turned on their balcony lights it lit up my room like I turned on my own interior lights. I had to keep the curtains drawn all night to sleep. The only thing good was the location though. Being on deck 9 forward you just walked to the back of the ship to get to the pool and restaurants no up and down stairs so it was really convenient going to and from your room all day long. Our Cabin was comfortable , as I said in the main review it wasn't particularly big and outside of our balcony view it's not particularly impressive . However Ideally you won't be spending much time in your cabin anyway . With another country onshore to explore and all sorts of activities to try around the ship . The bathroom can be a little tight as well . I traveled with a woman who had makeup and clothes everywhere so maybe it was more a reflection of my travel buddy than any deficiencies with the room . We had room 9245. This is a balcony room that is located on the pool deck. We find this to be a great location on the ship! It is nice to have a couch in the room. We met with our group each evening before dinner and it was comfortable to socialize in this room category. This room was located past the elevators, so there was minimal traffic going by. I would recommend this room location. Read entire member review >>
Spacious with no noise from propeller, engine, or Lido deck. The room can't be joined and so it doesn't have a door to the next room. This makes it perfect for couples. Located above the bridge. Suitcases can be stowed under the bed. Flat screen TV. We would choose the same room next time. Read entire member review >>
Decent size, very clean. Lots of storage. Bed wasn't to comfortable so we asked to have more cushion put on it which they did. It helped a little but still not like home. There was not much traffic noise from the hallway which was great but being right under the lido deck made for some noise with chairs being dragged around at night but overall I would recommend this cabin. You are on the port side so you do not get to many great views while at port but it was fun watching the ship dock and sail away from the balcony. Read entire member review >>
Good Size-- no bigger or smaller than other ships. However, there are a lack of outlets for charging, so bring a portable one. Cabin was always taken care off with clean towels day and night. Two twin beds (converted to king) was very comfortable. Extra bunks was average in comfort. Balcony was a nice size with two chairs.
Overall, very satisfied. Read entire member review >>
I was a little worried that it would be noisy. I was surprised at how quiet it was! You could not hear any noise from the pool and it was convenient to everything. I will definitely be booking Lido cabins in the future! As far as the room goes, it looked like a typical Carnival cabin. I love how they provide free water to VIFP guests now. There was one big bottle (per guest) in each cabin. Read entire member review >>
We had cabin # 9250 on the Lido deck. It was your typical Carnival room, but this was the first time I’ve had a balcony room (enjoyed my cave like inside cabin in the past), but it was nice to see light in the morning and have a sense of the time of day! We also enjoyed seeing the port when we arrived and sailed away conveniently from our room. We loved this room location. No noise from above or below. There was some occasional hallway noise from neighbors, but nothing major. Cabin location was perfect for going to the Lido to eat without having to deal with staircases or elevators as it was a quick walk past the pool to the burgers, burritos, and main buffet area. The only complaint we had with the room was the temperature. I asked our room steward for a fan, but he said we’d need to contact guest services. I called them twice our first day on the ship, and finally at about 9:30 PM someone came up with a little meter to check the temperature in the room. She said that it was in the low 70s and in their acceptable temperature range. That basically meant no fan for us. The room was the warmest in the afternoon when the sun is beating in so we made sure to always keep our curtain closed and during the middle of the night. I’m pretty sure Carnival turns the air off in the middle of the night. The room felt stagnant as there was no air movement. Opening the balcony door wasn’t a help since it was hot and humid outside even in the middle of the night. I know I’ve read many other CC reviews complaining about the temperature so I know we weren’t the first with this issue although I’ve never had this issue on a previous cruise. I usually slept with no covers on at all or just a sheet and then it was ok. I would have liked a nice cool room so I could cuddle in my covers and sleep, but you make do and move on. Usually we were so exhausted from our daily activities that getting to sleep wasn’t an issue! Air temperature wasn’t an issue anywhere else on the ship. Most common areas were chilly by comparison especially in the dining room and the Venetian Palace. Read entire member review >>
I do not recommend the room. It was very noisy as the pool is above and they move the lounge chairs at all hours of the day and night. It was so loud! even when the pool is closed, the staff must be up there moving stuff for the next day. I was woken up several times a night every night!! Also, our TV didn't work quite right - we could never see the free movies each day. We were told a TV tech would fix it, but he never came. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was great. Not a covered balcony which I do prefer. We loved the very close proximity to the spa and camp carnival. Also very close to the mid-ship pool and buffets. Read entire member review >>
One floor below Lido so very noisy upstairs as they moved chairs back and forth while eating. Room was nice, good sized room and bathroom, shower was Much better than expected. Good A/C, had to turn it down a couple times from being too cold. Room service was Super fast. Great attendants. Nice sized balcony. Noisy from 6am till 9pm or so every day from either chairs upstairs or carts outside the door. Read entire member review >>
Don't throw away your money. Ship is disgustingly nasty with body fluids dripped down the walls of the bathrooms that look to have been there for maybe a year or so. No wonder viruses and diseases are so prevalent on their ships. Housekeeping is non existent and does no care whether you are happy or not. Food is covered in so much jerk seasoning, it is not eatable. Worn out nasty ship that needs to be cashed in for scrap metal. Four 30 minute comedy shows, other than that you had the swimming pool, bar with outrageously priced drinks or the casino. Only plus was I had a balcony and I brought several books to read. Loved 8356. 8356 is the Port side of the ship (left side). You can literally see the sunrise every morning from that side. There are 2 days you can't (those are the days you are on your way back). You can't hear the noise from lido. It's wonderful!! Read entire member review >>
First time on this ship class and liked it immediately, big but not TOO big, easy to get around, We had balcony cabins on the Lido deck, 9230 and 9266, heart of the action and yet quiet Cabins were very comfy, plenty of room for a couple and a balcony is pretty cool even though we do not mind interior. Mini fridge we could keep our own drinks in, small flat screen TV which we used to see ship's position but otherwise not use, built in room safe accessed with Sail and Sign card kept all the valuables safe (I left an extra $5 a day for room steward which was not touched the first 2 days till I explained it was for him!). Cabin is too close to the atrium. You get all the noise coming up from the atrium (opens up to the elevator bank right outside room). The elevators ding day and night. We didn't notice people noise as much from the elevators. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8381..a balcony. Very nice. Plenty of room. Bathroom clean and adequate. The people next to us smoked cigars! The smell came right over to us! The location was midship and also across from the pantry! Very noisy in the morning! It was also under the Lido Deck. Not as noisy, but you can definitely hear it! Not too far from the aft elevators and stairs. I would also suggest to hang something on the mailbox or on your door so that you (or your kids) can spot your cabin right away! It was Easter when we went so I hung a blue sparkled "egg"(cardboard) with our initial on it right from the mailbox! We also decorated our balcony window with Easter decoration clings that stick right to the glass! Read entire member review >>
Love this stateroom! Only book for two guests as there is no sofa, just a chair. The balcony is HUGE! We had two chairs, two loungers and a table, with plenty of room for more.
Would be perfect for a family of 4 wanting a balcony, and an inside stateroom to save money on the additional room instead of two balcony rooms.
If you are a light/early sleeper skip this cabin. It is directly above aft lounge and until the late adult comedian is done, you can hear everything. It didn't bother us, and never woke us. Read entire member review >>
We were in Cabin 8305 which was located on deck 8 and the size of the room was great and the balcony was great, only downside is that it is located under the lido deck and every morning we woke up early with pool chairs sliding back and forth above us!! Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony cabin on the Lido deck (9th floor). It was a great location, since the buffet and the pool deck were on the same level. Carnival did a great job of keeping the noise level out of the cabin areas. We never heard any noise, and slept very peacefully. The room was much bigger than we had expected, and we had plenty of space to store our things. The bathroom and shower were good size, and we didn't feel like we were crammed into a small space. The view off the balcony was breathtaking. My fiance proposed on the balcony just as the sun was setting and glistening on the beautiful blue waters....it was PERFECT!!!! Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8292 port side mid to forward. cabin is approx 8 from The Garden Atrium. It is typical for a baclony cabin size wise. the floor was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Would pick that one again. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 9249 on Lido deck 9. Found the cabins to be pretty noisy due to constantly slamming doors. Hallway noise was also loud and filtered into the cabin. Cabin size and storage is very good considering the price charged for a balcony. Read entire member review >>
Very quiet away from stairs, elevators or any activities. It was perfect. Size was more than enough and the balcony, storage space and bathroom were everything we had hoped for. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8327 was very nice. It had your basic balcony set-up and was connected to cabin 8331 on the balcony. We opened the doors since we had both cabins and it made a wonderful meeting area first thing in the morning. It was in a great location with a beautiful view. A bit of a walk from the elevators but not too bad. They put us in the Silver Dining Room which was odd considering we were closer to the Golden Olympian Restaurant. The only other cabin news would be the noise on the night of the deck party. They are directly above dancing the night away and you can hear the dancing and the moving of the chairs...but it wasn't horrible. All in all, this was a comfortable cabin and located centrally...with beautiful views! Read entire member review >>
Ample space ,good size bathroom and ample closet and drawer space .Small but serviceable balcony . Only problem with the balcony was that one chair was a recliner type and sat very close to the rail .We were on the Lido deck far forward and it meant a long walk to the stern of the ship and food but it was nice and quiet .I would probably get a cabin more amidships next time . This is a great location for access to Emile's restaurant and the aft pool, water-slide area. It's also mid-ship so there really wasn't that much movement. However, the balcony is underneath the Emile's restaurant overhang so you won't be able to sunbathe out there. We didn't find it very noisy with the exception of the deck party that was had mid way through the cruise. They had the whole ship separated into teams (red, white and blue) and at one point they had each team stomping and making noise which make the cabin very loud. We're both night owls though so it didn't bother us at all. Read entire member review >>
