The cabin was clean and decent. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was the same as all ships. Small but clean. We had an extra length balcony one or two cabins from aft facing cabins and it was a great spot. 3 floors down for dinner and 2 floors up for pool, bar and buffet. Read entire member review >>
Clean and well kept, but hot as many have reported. Cabin steward provided a fan and seemed unsurprised by our complaint. Nice view of the bridge, but view of the water is partially obstructed by life boats several decks below. Read entire member review >>
Very nice cabin 185 sq ft, queen bed with a sofa and table. I think it was a pull out sofa.
It had his/her closets, dressing table. Bathroom was a good size water pressure was great. Read entire member review >>
I don't remember which particular balcony category we had, but it was port-side near the front of the ship. I did a lot of research when choosing a stateroom, and I picked this one because it was high enough to be above the casino deck (deck 5) and far from the elevators and the stairs. It was a great room - no excessive noise that we noticed other than people in the hallway. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was perfect - right in the middle of the ship, so we could easily get down to the main level and go up to the lido/spa area. It was also very quiet - even though it was close to the Casino we didn't hear a peep. Read entire member review >>
The beds were very comfortable, the pillows are one soft and one firm on each side of the bed. The room was Hot, you could not feel any air blowing. I think there is a problem with the fan that blows the air. They checked the temperature and said it was in the acceptable degree or 72-74. When there is no moving air in the room 74 is warm. bring a small fan if you can. We slept with the door open, I told them I was going to sleep up on the serenity deck. I know you are not suppose to leave the door open but when the A/C is not working the no open door rule ends there. We had a very nice cabin steward, he did a good job. We tipped an extra $20 because he had lots of cabins to tend more than I have seen before. It does seem they have less staff on these bigger ships and they are always working very hard. Spotless cabin; lovely uninterrupted view of the deep blue sea! private balcony which was expected and our stewards on both weeks were simply brilliant. We had a double bed and a single for our son, ample space and an ensuite facility helped make our trip. Read entire member review >>
As mentioned, we got a free double-upgrade and were very pleased with the balcony cabin. Beds were very comfortable and there was ample space for the three of us. The bathroom was larger than expected as well. I liked the free safe service that was provided as well. We spent a little more time in the cabin than expected, so the balcony view was an added bonus. The balcony was a little dirty, but they did do cleaning and maintenance on about the 3rd day of the cruise. Our stateroom was kept very clean. The bed was comfortable as always. We had a very sluggish shower drain which caused a minor flood when we first used it. The plumber was very quick to respond and the drain was repaired right away. Cabin #7408. Good location for easy access to the Lido deck, Aft pool area, and Victoria's lounge. There is a housekeeping storage room across from this cabin, so if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in, the noise in the morning may be bothersome. Also, although it's conveniently located right around the corner from the Aft elevators and stairway, you will from time to time hear other passengers talking as they walk past in the hallway. Very spacious (3 closets), plenty of drawer space, lots of room for toiletries in the bathroom, and much dresser/countertop space. Refrigerator area is a little hot, but drinks stayed fairly cold. Lovely balcony view. I never heard ANY disruptive noise whatsoever from the balcony. BTW, this balcony can be combined with balcony of 6274 if you have friends next door. This room is just by the elevators. We were not disturbed by the elevator or people-traffic, but the music from the atrium three decks down was quite loud. It never really bothered me, but I was aware of it and some might have trouble sleeping as the atrium music goes on until quite late. Read entire member review >>
We were on Upper Deck (6th) with a balcony. The room was spacious and the balcony was dynamic. The major issue is being above the nightclub and band on the promenade. It pays to review your stateroom in relations to the ship's entertainment. This is a lesson learned!!! Read entire member review >>
Our balcony cabin, 7408,was located towards the back on deck 7 (Empress) and was extremely comfortable and absolutely silent. There was no vibration other than when the thrusters were being used to pull into and out of port. The size of the shower was sufficient with plenty of hot water. The only thing I would have liked in the bathroom was a constantly powered power outlet for a nightlight which I brought. The outlet is powered only when the bathroom lights are on. This also hampers people using the plug to charge electronic devices. The bed was made up as a queen and super comfy with plenty of room under it to store suitcases. There was an abundance of closet space but no drawers in the nightstands. The fridge was large enough for us to store cans of soda and water we brought on-board. Ask the steward to clear out and store the liquor and soft drinks that are there when you arrive in the cabin. The only noise that came through was during PA announcements and loud people transitioning through the hall. The location of this cabin was absolutely ideal for reaching the Lido, which was 2 decks above, as well as the dining room, three decks below. The staircase and elevators were a few steps away. Read entire member review >>
Veranda room, big, well laid out and great to have large window and fresh air. Really enjoyed and wouldn't go back to an inside room. Couch was great and table to eat room service at. Veranda really nice in the morning and evening. Not on port side when we arrived so would want other side of ship in future, if I was ever going on this ship again. Read entire member review >>
Nice balcony, lots of closet space. Converted couch to 3rd bed and room still felt roomy. Near the elevators, but not too close. Across the hall from the laundry room which was convenient but not noisy at all. Was recommended this room for several reasons - only cabins above and below it (no public spaces which can get noisy at odd hours), it is located in the middle of the ship which can help with swaying, near the elevators and lastly, since this is on the same floor as the "fancy" suites, usually the best stewards are on this floor. I thought our cabin was actually pretty good! We had a balcony room which we spent a ton of time on! We had plenty of room to move around and the closet space was pretty big compared to what I thought it was going to be! They make great use of their space...a lot of shelving. The bathroom...eh...it's a cruise ship bathroom so I wasn't expecting the Ritz. It wasn't bad though! Again, a lot of storage space and they even leave you toiletries that you may have left at home!:) Read entire member review >>
The cabin was not far from the Atrium elevators. I only noticed noise one day comming from the Gloves Bar, other then that no noise. It was right above the life boats. Good overall location and cabin. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8353 with a balcony on the Veranda Deck was in a great location. It was directly across the hall from the wash room/iron. I was worried because I thought that there would be a lot of traffic/noise, but there wasn't. It was also close to the stairs/elevator and directly below the Lido Deck/Food. Our cabin had a really good view when we were leaving the ports. We were on the starboard side, and it seemed to be good. The downside is, out room was right above the Casino, and when there was entertainment there it was quite loud. It only bothered us if we wanted to go to bed early which we did on one night and it was very difficult to sleep. Read entire member review >>
Small, but not cramped. We'll always choose a balcony. No matter how small, the entire outboard wall becomes a picture window. Very comfortable beds and pillows. We were never bothered by any shipboard noises, and this cabin is a short walk to either the center or aft elevators. Read entire member review >>
