Oceanview stateroom with a private balcony and twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.

Cabin 6458

The cabin was nice, with the exception of the issue with the curtains that was resolved when we brought it to the attention of guest services. The beds (pushed together) were comfortable. There was ample storage space for a cruise of this length. There was not a lot of room to pass by the end of the bed to get out to the balcony and a similarly tight space between the bathroom and the closets. The bathroom was clean except for stains in the toilet. The instructions on the security safe indicate you should use a credit card or driver's license to activate the lock. They do not tell you that your key card will work just fine.

The shower in the bathroom was a tight fit but it had plenty of counter space. Otherwise, it was a great cabin with a nice large balcony.

Cabin 7446

Our cabin was 7446, Deck 7, Empress. It was an Aft balcony. We enjoyed the view from the back of the ship. King bed, three closets, vanity, tv, mini-bar, safe, two clothing drawers and one misc. drawer. Only one electrical outlet in the cabin with another in the bathroom (it's at the top of the mirror). Keep in mind, this is as far back on the ship as you can go which means the walk back there can take a while. Maybe it helped walk off a few calories!

Very quite and private. No sofa in room like was next door cabin. Small but pleasant. Air conditioning either wat too cold or too warm. Needed more drawer space. 3 drawers total for 2 people.

Cabin 8450

A secret gem, only two aft cabins (this one and its mirror on the other side) have an extra wide balcony compared to the other afts. Some chair scraping noise on occasion from the Lido above but nothing that was a major irritation. Would sail in this balcony any time it was available.

Ample room Comfortable bed Ash on the balcony (aft) .. this is normal but it should be cleaned more often The amenities were prepackaged advertising giveaways and not especially made for Carnival... tacky but we did make use of the razor and the moist towelettes Extra hangars Not enough outlets ******** Light switches hard to operate Didn't like having to use a credit card for the safe... the credit card is supposed to be IN THE SAFE
