Because it got dood reviews and it was leaving from Baltimore. Unfortunately we had a very rough ride down and back and weather was not good anywhere but Half Moon Cay but that not the cruises fault. The food however was not very good, didn’t even look appealing. There was no entertainment really other than comedian who was very good and some piano bar etc. just a bunch of games and auctions ...

We wanted a family cruise. So we chose the carnival legend. The food selection was absolutely minimal. There was not many choices to chose from and everything we ate gave us diarrhea the whole entire time. And several other people in the boat dealt with the same issue. We went through a storm and in the midst of that, two rooms had their balconies fly completely off! The ship is very outdated. The ...

Carnival Legend did nothing but cause stress in a time of relax. I got the (15 ct) drink package in which the bars attempted to cut me off even when I had 5 / 4 drinks left. This happened twice. Other bars could see how many drinks I had left, but the other half had their computers reading I reached my limit, taking away from what I paid. When dining at Follies, the server charged another persons ...

We went on an anniversary cruise for our 18th wedding anniversary. My bride's luggage was promptly lost on the ship. After five days of battling with staff it was placed in our cabin, The staff fought me with tooth and nail because it could not have been Carnivals fault. The cabin was over air conditioned and had to be adjusted by staff six different times. Food on the ship is not up to the ...

The Worst Carnival Cruise Everrrr!

First of all the ship was very outdated. There were rust stains on the ceiling, lamp shades were tattered and torn (I have pictures), carpets faded, etc. I understand the ship is old but definitely needs to be refurbished. There seemed to be no real protocol when it comes to Covid. Not enough opportunities for handwashing, especially in close proximity to food. People were just allowed to touch ...

No directions to our suite. No on board champagne. We're in 4 lounges. And no bar staff ever took our order. Had to go to bar. Ship is very gaudy. Really over the top with Japanese like decor plus Grecian urns all around. No glass of champagne at captains party. Got 1$ off drinks. Buffet is very limited. Only one station changes daily. Deli had no roast beef. Drinks very expensive and ...

My husband and I were on the Legend for the Barenaked Ladies Ships and Dip charter event. Similar to Rock the Boat, the band the Barenaked Ladies along with a host of other great bands provided the on-board entertainment for a 4-night cruise that stopped in the Turks & Caicos. Being huge fans of the Barenaked Ladies, we signed up with little research about the ship or the itinerary. That being ...

I guess my wife and I could be considered seasoned cruisers, this was our 17th cruise. I do not like to give negative reviews on any cruise that we have been on; I feel any cruise is as good as you make it. This cruise, however, is one that I think other cruisers should be warned about. We sailed out of New York on 9/9/2006 on the Carnival Legend for an 8-day Eastern Caribbean cruise. We are ...

This was our honeymoon trip and I have to say that both my husband and I were extremely disappointed in Carnival, in general. Though there were some highlights, we have decided to not sail with Carnival ever again. This was our second cruise, but our first with Carnival. We had an excellent time on our first cruise (with RCI) and was looking forward to a similar experience with Carnival. We were ...
