Ignore the nonsense reviews about it being different and badly laid out compared to vista suites on other decks. It's GREAT. Open plan gives the feel of a huge space compared to the other decks which I got a peak at. The downside to 'living' at the stern of the vessel is that you feel EVERY bump. The stern thruster (when used during early morning berthings) was enough to shake the refrigerator out of the cupboard and knock things off shelves - guessing thats probably not normal. My (now ex) japanese partner compared it to a magnitude 5 earthquake in the room every time they used it. Read entire member review >>
Great roomy cabin with good ammenities. The balcony area is LARGE. It was a pity the weather often didn't cooperate. Being on a low deck there is a noticeable water noise from the wake but it didn't take long to get used to it. We had a few rough nights there was noise from cavitation but too be expected in lumpy seas. Read entire member review >>
As Carnival is new to Sydney there were some great introductory prices. So we took the opportunity to book a Vista Suite. We chose 4228 because it had a connecting door to family members in 4330. Suite was great. Six different areas so you felt you were in a tiny apartment rather than a cabin. The balcony is huge and as it is wrap around one side is always a little bit more out of the breeze than the other. From the deck plans the suite on level 4 seems to be the largest. The deck furniture was all new too. Read entire member review >>
Our Cabin was a Vista Suite..the Balcony was a wrap around and it was AWESOME. I loved the large walk in closets, the whirlpool tub was a dream. The beds were a little firm and it would be nice to have something to soften them but overall it was good. There is a slight vibration from the engines but I found it kind of nice to lull me to sleep each night. Read entire member review >>
HUGE wrap balcony. Walk in closet. Nice bathroom with double sinks & jetted tub. Nice changing room also doubled as computer room with desk. The bed here was not as comfortable as I remember the Carnival Comfort Bed being and I hd trouble sleeping. In rough seas, the lights & everything vibrated constantly. Deck furniture was fine. We never had debris from the Lido deck above but did have to ask people to not flick their cigarette ash over their rail since it landed right on us. We only heard deck chairs moving in early AM and late evening. Read entire member review >>
