Our first Carnival cruise that my TA set up for us almost 2 years ago. We had the Grand Suite, which was more than we ever imagined! The service was excellent and always courteous. The foods and entertainment especially Polaris I could listen for hours was beautiful! Chef's Table was outstanding and totally worth it. Veterans appreciation and Veterans Tea gatherings was a nice touch too. Loved my ...

We were with a group of 17 couples who met from across the country and cruised together for a week. This was our first experience with Carnival, but we have cruised twice before. We stayed in a Grand Suite and found the accommodations spacious and lovely. Incredible amount of efficient storage. Bathroom was lovely, spacious, including double sinks, a jacuzzi tub and bidet. Service from our ...

We were a party of three sailing on July 9-My sister and a friend. We were supposed to be a party of four but my brother had last minute health issues that prevented him from sailing. We embarked in Seattle...easy embarkation. My sister and I are both platinum, but overall it was so simple I don't think it mattered. My friend and I were in a vista suite on deck four and my sister was in an ...

Great Itinerary - Gaudy Ship

My husband and I sailed on the Legend years ago and left with the overall impression that the decor was extremely gaudy and the overall experience was so-so. However, when friends picked this cruise and invited us along, we opted to join them for their company more than anything else. Here are my overall impressions of our experience this time: Embarkation and debarkation - some of the ...

I selected the cruise because a friend was on board with her children and mother-in-law. The service in the restaurant was slow especially at the end of the meal. I was on anytime dining and on the two nights I ate in the main restaurant it took 15 minutes for them to take my dessert plate so I could leave and free up my otherwise empty table, mean while there is a huge queue outside of people ...

Not enough stops around New Zealand

I have never been to New Zealand before. We have travelled with P&O several times and loved it. Carnival legend was disappointing with Luke warm food every meal, even Truffles restaurant the meals had to be sent back to heat them up. Food terribly disappointing. Our cabin was spacious and we had a balcony which I think is pretty necessary. We were constantly running to open the cabin door ...

I hadn't visited New Zealand and didn't know where to start so we decided to have a glimpse of some of the noted scenic places. We had a bit of rough weather but handled it well and certainly our choice of a vista suite made the scenic cruising fantastic with views from our wrap-a-round balcony. We dined in the main restaurant almost all the time and found the staff very attentive. They tried ...

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with four other couples. Embarkation was delayed by three hours due to the previous cruise needing to make an unscheduled stop to offload a family of thugs. Embarkation was very smooth and quick. Our Ocean Suite was lovely, very roomy and spotlessly clean each day. We ate in Truffles restaurant and the food and waiters were excellent. The buffet on ...

It was ex Melbourne and was advertised heavily as the inaugural cruise. The ships is so tardy, so old and weathered. No maintenance done at all. Our suite was vibrating non stop impossible to sleep. When reported nothing was done. This was the same results every time we needed guest services, no one cared about anything. Terrible attitude. Most passengers were so drunk and alcohol was never ...
