Definitely a Fun Ship

This was our first time on a Carnival cruise ship. We had the opportunity of a great fare that was too hard to turn down. Despite the initial shock of the dowdy dark mixed themes interior, we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise mostly due to the happy staff and crew. We additionally loved the fact that Carnival generously provides FREE FRESH bean coffee which none of the other cruise lines we've ...

I chose this cruise as a way to get to Hawaii and see all the different islands. It served that purpose, and I enjoyed the trip overall. The naturalist on board was very personable and knowledgeable. As others have mentioned, the cabin was cold most of the time and there was no way to turn on the heat. I had a sweater, so it wasn't too big a problem. My main complaint is that they ...

Just returned from Alaska. If you are a seasoned traveller; meaning you have been to Europe, South America, Asia, and/or Africa, this cruise is not for you. Imagine a bunch of heavy set people from middle America stuffing their faces with awful food. I saw this every morning when I went to the 9th floor for breakfast. Coffee is mediocre. Tea of choice is Lipton. The orange juice is so sweet ...

Nothing Spectacular except the beauty of nature you experience

We chose this cruise line and boat because we were a group of 16 consisting of 10 kids. Carnival seemed a better option for kids, since other cruisers with kids or in a younger age group cruise carnival. We were on somewhat of a budget but that wasn’t a huge deciding factor in our selection. The itinerary was good but I think they are all pretty similar. I was not a fan of this boat at all. Yes ...

We were excited to go - as we had previously 3 times taken repositioning voyages across Pacific with other Cruise Lines...This one had a Great choice of route via Polynesian islands ... Unfortunately in the balance this ship had poor food , poor organization - virtually no port or travel information " Libray sent us the wrong books " , ask X as I have no information about this ... X says ask Y ...

This was our first cruise and we chose Carnival for the child care and child friendly services offered. Really, really wish we had done more research before deciding this looked like the best option. The embarkation and disembarkation were fine, we were more than happy to get off the ship as quickly as possible. We were fast-tracked at embarkation because of the age of our child (2 years old) ...

I have always wanted to see the world now I can am I just cruise every chance I get. We went to Alaska for the 7 day cruise and loved it . The Legend is small and out dated but ok . The staff is some what friendlier then some of the other ships I have been on. I was cold most of the time so I could not really enjoy like I wanted to. The food is oh my god bad ,bad. They really need to do better ...

Overall, we rate this cruise as Average, based mainly on the superior service of the crew and the general cleanliness of all public spaces onboard. The quality of the food in all venues was a little sub-par from our previous experience on the Legend (in 2014), as were the evening performances in the re-named Follies showroom. The worst part of the whole cruise was embarkation in Seattle. All ...

This will be lengthy but I just have to "vent". We were in the terminal almost ready for customs. Carnival personnel informed us we had to step aside and have our liquor bottles stamped. We had already read that we were entitled to one bottle of wine each in our carry on. My husband and I each had one. People ahead of us had wine and some soft drinks. The wine and soft drinks were all ...
