Interior with French Door (obstructed views) Cabins
(185 sq. ft.) French doors with obstructed views. Two twin beds (convertible to king-size bed). Sofa and coffee table. TV; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; wall safe; 3 closets; full bathroom with shower; hair dryer; mini bar.
Good cabin between the lifeboats. Doors open. Thermostat doesn't work. One outlet above the bathroom sink, and one outlet at the desk. Our steward brought us an extension cord to use. Read entire member review >>
This Cabin was a excellent value for money. The view is obstructed by two life boats, but you have a clear view of the outside. During the day, you have sun light in the room coming through. The doors do actually open, but you have no balcony outside. the cabin is very spacious and has a sofa bed included. Read entire member review >>
Liked the French Door letting in light and Yes they open, a half glass wall/rail, if you were adventurous like a 19 yr.old girl you crawl out onto metal walkway between room and life boat. Price of a Inside cabin but open door and get some fresh air, great indirect sunlight just a nice alternative. Read entire member review >>
Cabin - we selected interior cabin with french doors. Description gave description that doors could be open even though it would be a obstructed view due to lifeboats. However, door could not be open so it was just an interior cabin. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was amazing! It was perfectly placed between two lifeboats so there was a great view even though the price reflects view obstructed! Great cabin to pick as it isn't above or below any common areas that would make it loud, also it's in the center of the ship so you don't feel the movement as much as other decks/cabins. 4136 is interior with a french door and a lovely view of a lifeboat. As we were expecting a true interior cabin, being able to open the doors for a whiff of sea air was a pleasant bonus . . . but as the crew were often out hosing down the boats each day, not for the faint of heart or breakfast wardrobe if you leave the curtains open. Cabin #4197 4K main deck, near the stairs in the aft of the ship. Good quiet location. Does not have a full open view, but has light, and you can see the sea. Bathroom size was fine. Room has two twins (king) a sofa, plenty of storage space. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 4136 was of adequate size. My first impression was "a 3/4 size hotel room." I found the bed a bit firm for my liking. The room steward did not clean the bathroom the last 2 days of the cruise. Otherwise adequate. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was great, great, great. for 2 people, it was perfect. we had a whole closet to spare, that held just our luggage. bed was a bit worn out, but slept well enough. wish there was a way to hold the doors outside open, because the sound of the water was great.
make note though, do not leave the doors open when you leave during the day. when they wash teh deck, your room will get sprayed. Read entire member review >>
This was the 13th cruise my husband and I have taken (all on Carnival---I am very satisfied with Carnival, so why go on others?). However this is the first time we have ever had a cabin with an obstructed view. We usually just get interior (we are hardly ever in the room, so what's the big deal?). This time we booked interior and was upgraded. I have to say, this was the best room! Even though the view was obstructed by a lifeboat, we could still see what the weather was outside and, best of all, we left one door open at night and listened to the ocean. Also, the room was huge compared to a regular interior room. We had a sofa with a table. I LOVE this room! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin slept 4 people and we had enough room and closet space. We had an obstructed ocean view (lifeboat in the way), but we were expecting an interior cabin with no view so we weren't disappointed with anything. Read entire member review >>
not enough storage for luggage and we only had 2 large bags for 3 people.
Over all the room is well planned and the amenities good. our travel buddies had a little trouble with the room temp. we could not turn down the ac.
very quiet at this end of the ship after we informed our neighbors children that we would not tolerate screaming and running in the hall.
comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water for the shower, beware the sink does not have a drain catch so don't drop anything or it will be gone. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin for a quad. Technically a "inside cabin" but actually an outside with obstructed view. The bathroom was small but adequate. Not much space to hang a towel. The room came with 2 bathrobes, but that meant we had to share as there were 4 of us. A quad should have 4 bathrobes provided. It was on the main deck in the center so there was hardly any motion, it was close to the elevators and stairs but far enough away to avoid noise. All in all a great room.
