Not a Legend-ary Cruise

Review for Carnival Legend to Caribbean - Western

We recently cruised on the Legend. While we took some fun excursions, overall it was a mediocre experience. We picked this trip, as it is close to our birthdays and anniversary, and because we wanted to see some of the ruins in Belize. Our overall impression was that the crew of the Legend do not seem very happy. I can’t remember a cruise where so few of the crew spoke to us, and even ...

We went on this Cruise because it was the itinerary we wanted for the Panama canal but we will never go on carnival again! We will be sticking to Royal Caribbean. The shore excursions were great but pretty much anything having to do with onboard sucked! The shows were so loud I couldn't stay for any of them, the food was not good, I ordered breakfast to my room every morning with extra cereal ...

Bad customer service!

Review for Carnival Legend to Caribbean - Western

Crew from the desk service was rude and unapologetic! They had the Spanish music very lower than the other kind of music. Very disappointed. The room service did not changed the linens how they supposed to every other day. When we went to the desk service to do the complain, they were finding excuses instead of fixing the problem. The Shows on the theatre was mediocre. The comedy show was ...

Review for Carnival Legend to Caribbean - Western

As stated above, my late husband and i were on this ship in 2004 and things sure have changed. My friends and i wanted to go on a 7 day halloween cruise and we have had good experiences before. Embarkation was, as always, a breeze, due to the great staff in the terminal. The cabins were kept in good condition. The crew and staff were friendly and responsive to any ...

The Legend Continues

We wanted to go on a Panama Canal cruise leaving the west coast and traveling east. We were not disappointed. The ship was beautiful and extremely clean. Seems like someone was always cleaning and polishing. Thankfully even the window were cleaned several times on this journey. That has always been my number one complaint. Well this time those windows were spotless. They must have cleaned them ...

Great cruise!

I chose this cruise because I got a very good price for a solo inside cabin. I had had Jen Baxter as a cruise director before. She still is a great cruise director. 10 sea days, but lots of activities planned for each sea day(lots of trivia). As this was a Hawaii cruise I did go to Hula lessons. Cabin was ok. Nita, cabin stewardess was great! Food overall was good, but I did have a few main ...

We had a big family get together. Most of us were able to get cabins close to each other. Entertainment, food and excursions were excellent. Our cabin steward, Nannt, was fabulous. She knew our names and addressed us appropriately each time she saw us. She also asked if there was anything else she could get us. Very helpful. Our cabin was spotless every day. Our dinner waiter, Nickel (sp?) ...

We have cruised many times in the Caribbean but have always wanted to try an Alaskan cruise. We had a marvellous time! My review is quite long but here are some special notes if you don't want to read the whole thing: - Don’t try to schedule your Lyft ride the day before your cruise - Check on possible excursion openings (which may have previously been fully booked) as soon as you board: ...

Love the ship, the itinerary; not the food.

Have been on Legend twice in the past and had a generally good experience. Really like this ship and this class of ship. Love the Alaska glacier bay itinerary as well. Ship is getting old but still one of the most comfortable around. Great staff on all counts, always professional and friendly. Nice port stops (though we all know Victoria is a waste). The Icy Straight Point stop is a great addition ...

First let me apologize for missing the Meet and Mingle. I’m legally blind, and did not see it in the Fun Times. Overall, the Cruise was great! My hubby, Guide Dog, Chuck, and I boarded the ship in Vancouver, Canada,. We had no problems doing this. The only thing I would change here if I could, the rooms were blocked off till 1:30. On past ships, we have been able to find our room, if it was ...
