Oceanview stateroom with private balcony and twin beds that convert to king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
We were in stateroom 5197, which was fine, just worn and not immaculately clean by any stretch. The hair dryer drawer was disgusting and I would not use the refrigerator because it had food particles dried onto the racks and side. Read entire member review >>
We were in Cabin 6204 on the port side of the ship. It had an "adjoining door" to the next cabin but we didn't know the people next door. I believe that allowed more noise from that cabin than we would have heard otherwise. It's hard to spot those cabins on the deck plan on the Carnival site but if you see little white teardrop looking icons between two cabins, that means they're adjoining. 6204 has an older tube TV, not a flat screen. The picture was just OK and some of the remote functions like being able to book shore excursions, previous channel, etc. did not work. The room was comfortable enough but didn't provide a lot of room to maneuver. The temperature was fine, the bed was a little firm but we slept well. The bed was a little hard but also comfortable overall. There is one 110V outlet and one 220V outlet on the desk, and one outlet for low-power devices like recharging shavers in the bathroom. There are a good number of shelves in the bathroom so at least everything doesn't have to sit on the small counter on either side of the sink. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was absolutely perfect. It was midship and close to the elevator. We could see down into the atrium to see what entertainment was going on any time or be at the Lido deck in 30 seconds. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was perfect. It was midship with a view of the atrium. We were within 50 feet of middle elevators. We could look down to see what was going on at our favorite bar or be on the Lido deck within 30 seconds. Our cabin steward was great. He greeted us by name every single time he saw us. Forget about getting a sea breeze! The balcony door opens and closes. Does not slide...There is a sign in the room telling you not to prop the door open. Windy conditions may cause damage and you will be liable!! Read entire member review >>
Domingo was excellent and always there for us. The TV was the old style, not flat screen which was pretty poor and low quality. My wife hired a movie on board which was very expensive, over $10. This should be free considering the tiny old TV you have to watch it on. Read entire member review >>
clean although some repairs were required and had to jam the balcony door fully closed each night by wedging the lock as the wind was whistling through and tormenting
staff were incredible Read entire member review >>
7156 & 7208: The rooms are a great size. Balcony’s have 2 chairs and a small table and doesn’t feel cramped when you are all sitting out there. Lots of draws and cupboard space, robes even. Luggage fits easily under the bed. Parents had an old box tv and we had a new flat screen, really doesn’t matter as they are the same size, who cares if one takes up more room behind it. You can use the menu on the TV to keep an eye on your bill, also see the menu for the restaurant that night. Small string drying line in the shower which is handy for swimmers, we also put them out on the balcony chairs. There is a small hair dryer but no iron or kettle which would have been great. 5135Excellent balcony cabin, plenty of space (even in the bathroom ), storage, very comfortable bed, near stairs/lifts, very quiet . Great cabin and cabin steward. Probably the best part of the carnival legend cruises we took was this sanctuary. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8131. Balcony w/unobstructed view. Located underneath Lido deck, so it was quiet at night, except for the wind which howled around the corner on a couple of nights. A little motion, but very gentle. Very near stairway/elevator. Lots of closet/storage space. Very nice! Read entire member review >>
Plenty of closet and drawer space, comfy bed, quiet location but that won't prevent you hearing your neighbor let the balcony door slam (so be a good neighbor and don't let yours slam either)! Great bathroom arrangement and delightfully spacious balcony for cabin category. Read entire member review >>
We had a Panorama Balcony Suite on Deck 8 - Nice cabin. Lots of storage. Good bed. Our only complaint was that we could hear the service trolleys on the Lido deck above up rolling around for most of the night and early morning. Read entire member review >>
Very quiet room. Bed was hard but comfortable. Everything very worn including the carpet, counters, furniture etc. Old decor in the bathroom & cabin needs updating badly. Balcony door whistled when the wind blew, the lights in the ceiling were out & never replaced. But ample drawer & closet space. Read entire member review >>
The balcony had two chairs and a small drink table on it. It is about 3-4 feet deep which worked fine for the two of us. Larger groups would be cramped with that size balcony. But, we loved having a balcony room for the first time. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting in the room was very ample. The sitting area next to the bed was very nice to have. This room is great because there is only an adjoining balcony on one side. It is very close to the elevators at mid-ship. The only noise we heard on a regular basis was from inconsiderate people letting their room doors slam shut. We never heard any noise from the room above us. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was very comfortable. Good location on port side of ship, aft. Beds are hard as a rock and when separated, they are small. View from balcony was great. Good size for 2 people. More than that would be a real squeeze. Read entire member review >>
We always usually go with a balcony and we were excited that 7280 had a couch instead of only one chair like we've had on the last two Princess ships - we liked the cabin and the interactive tv - we could see what the menu was for meals, order shore excursions, review out onboard account and more. We loved the location on the ship - just wish the balcony had been designed better to be more usable in terms of space. Read entire member review >>
