The cabin was spotlessly clean. In contrast to the public spaces, the cabins are plain. Our cabin was an interior-porthole, which is the same as an ocean view but with two small portholes instead of a picture window. Porthole cabin E9, Empress Deck, two portholes. Plenty of room for two. Shower only. Two outlets by headboard and desk/vanity. One outlet in bathroom. Loved the location on Empress Deck and an 'ocean view' for an inside price.

Port hole area provided additional storage space! Read Less

We missed the extra room that comes with an ocean view or balcony room on a larger ship, but for a quick 5 day cruise these rooms were fine and a great value! Read Less

The only problem was the noise and vibration when they were having trouble getting the anchor to "Grab"! The big ledge in front of the portholes made for a good chorale for our towel animals!
