So many people complain about cruise ship cabins being so small. We were plenty comfortable. Class 6E staterooms are 185 square feet. That's roughly 13x14, so about the size of my kitchen. Compared to a hotel, yes, the rooms are tiny, but don't think of it like that. The entire Inspiration is your home for a few days. The cabin is just your bedroom. What all do you have to do in there? You can do it in 185 square feet. There's plenty of closet space if you're not ridiculous. PLENTY of bed space! My biggest problem is that the bathroom light switch is outside the door. I mean, really...who does that?! Put the freaken light switch where people can actually get to it. geez. The bathrooms are smaller than what you have at home. Be grateful you have such spacious bathrooms in your house and get over it. A ship is a mode of transportation. Have you seen the bathroom on a bus? A train? An airplane? Yeah, perspective. Yes, having to climb up on the bed to adjust the vent in the ceiling for climate control is a little weird. And no, the window, if you have one, doesn't open. But someone comes and makes your bed FOR you. Every Night! AND you get cute towel animals! Yay for terrycloth elephants! Yay for awesome room stewards from Indonesia who work hard to make better lives for their families! Good job, guys. :) Read Less

Cabin M249: Nice big closet, two twin beds pushed together, hard mattress, room has a desk, safe, tiny reading lights above each side of bed, and TV; bathroom was small, but shower big enough for two.
