LOVED staying in Nassau overnight
"This cruise on the Carnival Imagination stays in Nassau all day and overnight which was the main reason we chose this cruise. This was my first Carnival cruise and this ship was fine for my first time. I found the..."Read More

This was me and my husbands first cruise. Overall, we had a blast! Pros: Neither of us experienced motion sickness Our room was tidy and clean Noise was not a issue The staff was kind and helpful Bahamas was absolutely beautiful - and our Atlantis excursion made it even better Getting on and off the ship was a breeze There was always something fun or interesting to do Cons The food was ...

The ship was small and certainly not outstanding to say the least. Very dark. I like bright decorations. I did not enjoy the lido deck on this ship either. Mostly drinkers. (kind word). I don't see the point in becoming so drunk you can't walk. I am all about having a good time. I grew up in the 70's so I know what a good time is for sure. However, there is a time and place for everything. I ...

This was my second cruise with Carnival cruise lines, and it was intended as a short weekend getaway. I was celebrating my birthday as well, so it was myself, my boyfriend and 2 friends who were onboard. The ship was small- there are only 10 decks as it's usually just a weekend trip cruise ship of 3-4 night itineraries. It's also one of the older ships in the fleet. This wasn't a concern for me ...

first there was four of us,when we got on they told us one had to sleep on a rollaway! My niece didn't really like that and said mom I may just cuddle with you! room was dingy and gloomy colors form the 70's. we went on our way and decided to make the best of it... ok time for bed..... rollaway is now totally gone out of the room no one said to remove it.... just wasn't sure she wanted to use it. ...

10+ Cruises

Age 50s

My children and I sail every December when they are on holiday break. We usually sail Carnival Sensation or Carnival Fascination. This year I chose Carnival Imagination as it was the only ship fitting our calendar. These are great cruises for families with active children. For my cruises with my adult friends we sail different lines. This is my 20th cruise since 1999 and 5th with my children. The ...

My husband and I have cruised more times then we can remember. With Princess, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity. This is by far the first time I have said, "never again with this cruise ship". And this is the second time we've given Carnival Imagination a try. Okay, so here we go...no hairdryers in the rooms. Come on! What cruise ship does not provide hairdryers now a days. No fridge in the ...

My family chose this cruise because of the price: BIG MISTAKE!!!! The other cruise we were looking at was twice the price and on another line that I have sailed on more frequently/recently. None of us had sailed on Carnival in 10 years, and we enjoyed it then, so we were thinking positively. I was sailing with my Huband and my Mom and Dad. The only good thing I can say about this cruise was that ...

After all the less than stellar reviews written regarding Carnival Imagination's 3 Night Nassau sailing my expectations were not high, however living in South Florida and with the rate I was able to get, I figured I did not have mulch to lose. I cannot say how pleasantly surprised I was at the whole experience. Embarkation: I arrived at the terminal at 1pm for a 4pm sailing. Aside from being ...

My husband and I picked this cruise as a trial bases to see if he would have problems getting sea sick since he is very prone to motion sickness but I am happy to know now that he had no problem but the seas were also perfect!! Overall this was a great experience. I had sailed Carnival before but was along with 5 others new to cruising. The ship was a little dated but very clean. We stayed in an ...

First Time Cruiser

My sisters and I went to celebrate birthdays. We looked at reviews on line but still didnt know what to expect. We were told the lines to enter the ship would be terrible and it would take forever to board. Not the case. We arrived a bit too early. Around 10:45 am. No lines @ check in and waited in the holding area. Went through right away and our picture was taken. We checked into customer ...
