In each room we had two bathrooms - one is a shower, toilet and sink and the other is a tub/shower and sink. We found this very useful for getting ready so all of could shower at the same time. Room - size was good (standard), had enough room to unpack comfortably. Comfortable beds. Need more places to charge/plug in. They only had a spot near the vanity mirror - very annoying since I like my phone near the bed and this was not achievable. There should be a plug or two near the bed area. Read Less

Horrible beds. Would have been nice if the bunk bed was closed/put away daily but it was left set up the entire trip.

We were in a deluxe ocean view which was spacious and very clean. The second bathroom was wasted space since there was only two of us. There was plenty of closet storage although there was only one small drawer outside the closet. The bathroom had a good amount counter space but there was no fan so it tended to fog up. The bed was a little too firm for my taste. TV channels are very limited with no major networks or music channels. Read Less

The cabin is at the front of the boat. Long and narrow room with a picture window. It has 2 bathrooms. One has a toilet, shower and sink and the other a sink and small, deep tub. Nice feature if you have a teen that takes forever to get ready. Room steward (Terrian) and house cleaning staff were great. Probably because the room is in the front when the sea was choppy you could hear the waves breaking on the bow and sides. It was a tremendous bang each time. Not an issue when the sea is calm. The TV in the room is bigger than the other Carnival ships. There is an on demand feature with some free movies and others cost $4.99. You can see your account and book excursions. TV channels are limited. 5 or 6 Carnival related channels and CNN, CNN International, CNN Spanish, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, TCM and TruTV (less channels than other ships). Bathrobes aren't given automatically in the room - you have to ask for them if you want a robe during the cruise. Family Harbor area is in the aft part of the 2nd floor. They have a family lounge room with snacks and breakfast, ice cream machine, good coffee machine (better than the Lido ones), video games and sitting area. You need a special pass/card to get in. It’s not open for everyone. Read Less

Our room was 1367 which was directly across from the laundry. Day 1 we had a passenger knocking on our door thinking it was the laundry. Day 2 we had a passenger walk into our room! They were also looking for the laundry and since our door was locked they asked a Carnival crew member to open the door for them and they did, no questions asked. That is the disheartening part for me, that someone would let a passenger into a room without first questioning them. Went to service desk to complain and my wife and I were give 2 free drinks each (up to $9.00). Note: we also called Carnival after cruise and were given an additional $50 OBC on our next cruise. On day 2 night we also found the floor by the window soaking wet. Seems there was a broken pipe. Had fans running in the room all the next day. This got us a free dinner for us and a couple traveling with us from the steak house (which we found to not be that great). From then on we had no other issues with the room. Room steward was great. We were in room 1384, a deluxe ocean view room with bunk beds. It was a great room with enough room for the four of us and a lovely large window with a wide sill. The kids loved piling pillows up and sitting in the window reading or watching docking and the activity on the docks or in the harbours. It was very quiet, except that we could hear the engine as a constant quiet purr in the background. The cabin had lots of storage. Although we are light packers (2 suitcases for all four of us), we did have both warmer and cooler weather clothing as the spring forecasts were variable, and we started and ended our trip in Montréal. All of our stuff unpacked into about half of the storage space. There were 2 bathrooms - one with a toilet, shower and sink, the other with a shower/bath and sink. Both bathrooms had a bit of counter space and small shelves for storage. Each had a retractable clothesline which was hand for drying bathing suits. Remember to bring some clothespins. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the kids slept well on the bunks, although personally I found the bunk mattresses a bit hard. We asked for room service only once a day, so the bunks stayed out: I had expected them to be put away during the day, but I guess we had to request this. The kids got along better having separate places to flake out in, so we didn’t bother. Read Less
